That happens for a guy like Russ in NJ. 30 years ago, what you posted makes sense for guys who care about outside the league stuff. Now, you can be the face of the league in Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay etc. Post career.. look at someone like Nate Burleson. He played for small market teams his whole career.
