Allen and the Bills lost to the Titans when Josh slipped.  Allen and the Bills lost to the Bucs when Josh couldn't score in the first half.  Allen and the Bills lost to the Patriots in a wind storm.  Allen and the Bills got crushed by the Colts.  Allen and the Bills lost to the friggin' JAGUARS when the other Josh Allen had a better game.

Sorry, what the country saw in big games, was Allen falling short.  And honestly it's the Bills' offense that's holding them back this year, unlike last year.

The only Bowl that really matters is the Super Bowl, not the Pro Bowl.  Allen has a much better chance of getting there than Jackson does.  Take some comfort in that.

Poyer is having an all-pro season. Him being 3rd alternate is the most egregious. That’s wild.

Josh is definitely top 3 in the AFC, but Poyer is the worst snub.

For Pro Bowl voters, what counts for DBs is interceptions, and for D linemen it's sacks.  Playing great team defense doesn't register.  SMH but this is the way of the world in the NFL.

I saw Jackson lead the Ravens back against the Colts in a huge comeback.  (Of course the Colts were playing with trash DBs -- they couldn't cover the Ravens WRs or TE.  But no one remembers that.)  Those are the kind of games that people remember and vote for.

Raise your hand if you'd take a trade, Josh for Lamar, straight up.  No hands, I see.  We still have the better guy.

so ive scoured for" nfl pro bowl snubs" articles. this is the only one that mentions josh allen and its totally side stepping the obvious? how the F8ck did lamar get picked

Field Yates, NFL analyst: A quarterback is always going to be left off and it will feel like a massive oversight. Buffalo's Josh Allen is one of the best players in the league and deserves to be on this roster, but the AFC has prodigious young quarterbacks. It might be time to make it four quarterbacks per conference.

update this was also entered  under the "Pick one player who didn't make this Pro Bowl roster but will make it for the 2022 season." category

Seifert: Allen, QB, Bills. As noted above, Allen has had a strong season. I'd say it has been arguably better than Lamar Jackson. It might have been a step down from his MVP-level play of last season, but Allen remains one of the AFC's top quarterbacks and he'll be back on the original Pro Bowl roster next season.

ARE you serious ? arguably...??????? im shocked at the lack of coverage /press /respect this is getting. were not talking about safety or OL. this is QB - the premier position in nfl and all of sports

I think this Seifert guy is dead on.  Exactly right.  And next year, the Bills will have a better O line (we assume) so Allen will be able to return to MVP performance levels.

you and seifert can make an arguemnt for not being MVP and taking a step down - thats debatable. but pro bowl is best 3 qb in the conf. josh allen is that. by far. and to have lamar jackson in is utterly insane
