Now that’s the only thing he had trouble with before, so that’s pretty damn big. He’s a great athlete. A really good blocker. Now he’s actually making teams worry about him when he’s being thrown to. Knox will get favorable matchups. He is leading in Tds for a Te. The Bills are a problem. Josh just consistently turned his nose up at them and teams knew it. Knox wasn't physical enough to get separation on deeper routes. I gotta watch it again, but this game looked like Josh's "coming out party" on taking the hot read/checkdown AND on hitting the deep pass successfully. When Knox had his opportunities, he couldn't take advantage of them. He wasn't physical enough to beat press coverage or to get off the line and get separation downfield. Now though.... Oh, agreed - I'm definitely talking about 2021. Now that Knox has developed into that guy, he's simply benefitting from what Kelce (Hill) has. For me, Kelce is his comp. They have similar playing styles, albeit Kelce with much more experience and nuance in his route running from that experience. Kelce, ultra-athletic 6'5 260. Knox, ultra-athletic 6'4 255.
