The Jets are gonna Jets and they have been an exercise in futility since their little run with Rex. But Adam Gase has to be one of the worst HC'ing hires ever made by an organization, and it happened twice. The Jets as a whole just can't seem to get anything right really. They whiff on all the big FA's they chase for their OL and then settle for mediocre. The big names they do sign who could possibly make an impact either end up mailing it in after getting that $$$ or they end up on IR. Daryl Johnson has shown enough to get a 6th in a trade. but yes, players usually have until the end of their rookie deal, unless they are 1st round picks. Their kickoff returns aren’t 2nd in the league. The special teams just suck. Tyler Bass isn’t leading the league in points or a top 5 FG kicker.
