There are countless examples of the government/media skewing the narrative about what is/isn’t true, including for many, the “WMDs in Iraq” saga. HB laptop is another example. What makes it comical is the exact same people who are perpetually distrustful of the Trump/Rep admin, and who would cite the lunacy of Fox News, NY Post and other outlets lack any sort of pocket presence when it comes to offerings by outlets like WaPo and NYT. The point is that the same people rolling their eyes about a thread entitled “The American Media Should Not Be Trusted” would sign on immediately to “The American Media Should Not Be Trusted” if you simply focus on a different outlet.
