If the stakes were not so high in Israel and the situation was not so tragic, and if Joe Biden were not at least the titular president of the United States, it would almost be worth a chuckle or two. But the stakes are almost too high to measure for a moment of comedy, and while Biden is clearly not in charge, his handlers must certainly be vexed, if nothing else.

 

On Monday, the National Muslim Democratic Council sent the administration a letter. In essence, Biden has until 5 p.m. Eastern tonight to force Israel into a ceasefire with Hamas. If not, it could cost him at the polls. The council claims that the voters’ trust in Biden has been “eroded” by the administration’s support and the “funding of armaments.”

 

And the council maintains that this is no idle threat. The council promises to mobilize Muslim Arab and “allied” voters to withhold any endorsements, support, and even votes from candidates who did not call for a ceasefire “and endorse (sic) the Israeli offensive against the Palestinian people.” There is no mention of the October 7 attacks and as Just the News pointed out, the letter contains nothing about Hamas.

The new national strategy is reportedly designed to "counter Islamophobia in the United States amid backlash from many Muslim Americans over its support for Israel."

 

Because Islamophobia is definitely the sentiment that's fueling the antisemitic, pro-Hamas rage mobs across the country.

Let's get some basic facts straight before we delve into the White House's attempt to gaslight the country. Jews make up 2.4 percent of the total population in the United States but were the target of more than 50 percent of the religiously motivated hate crimes that took place in 2022. These are the numbers of Joe Biden's own FBI, and, let's face it, the 2023 numbers will be markedly higher.

Are the wheels coming off the Biden Administration?  It looks like it, to the extent that this shambolic vehicle for a third Obama term ever had wheels to begin with.  There are some external clues, but there are also clues in the way Democratic insiders and spokespeople are suddenly acting.

 

The first bit of evidence comes from a New York Times / Siena poll that showed former President Donald Trump leading incumbent Joe Biden in 5 out of 6 battleground states.

 

But it’s not just the numbers.  As the Times reports:  “Discontent pulsates throughout the Times/Siena poll. . . .  The survey also reveals the extent to which the multiracial and multigenerational coalition that elected Mr. Biden is fraying. Demographic groups that backed Mr. Biden by landslide margins in 2020 are now far more closely contested, as two-thirds of the electorate sees the country moving in the wrong direction.”

 

Biden is hemorrhaging votes among Hispanics, his margin among women is dwarfed by opposition from men, and Black support for Trump is up to 22%, “a level unseen in Presidential politics for a Republican in modern times.”

 

If Trump does as well on election day (assuming, as seems likely, that he’s the Republican nominee) he’d win handily with over 300 electoral votes.  Voters still don’t care for his personality, but they miss his policies.

REPORT: The San Francisco homeless population has "miraculously" gone missing as President Biden & Chinese President Xi Jinping are set to meet in the liberal city.

The New York Post says sources have told them that the homeless are being "herded" out to other areas of the city.
