So you put back into office the guy who has been at the controls for 50 years to change it?

No, we voted out of office the bigoted sociopathic traitor who was elected in 2016.

Jimminy Christmas, man. Do some research on our new President. Just a little searching will reveal Biden for what he is.

I like when Biden said the N word in the 80s.  In the halls of Congress.  In front of a microphone.

I wouldn't just give people money I absolutely think you need to put into programs to increase education, improve health care, and so people don't have to worry about their next meal.

I agree.

Food insecurity is a big concern where I live, but the local schools seem to have taken that on as their core competency.

Education and education resources have taken a back seat to this outreach effort and I do think that is wrong.

Now, I do believe that schools are an ideal mechanism to identify and partner with agencies that should take the lead on those efforts and can even coordinate and facilitate resources at the schools to meet that need.

I don't want to see any kid go hungry, but when I am told that the school does not have the resources to provide for the education of my special needs daughter, yet teachers are pulled into these other efforts, I cannot help but feel it is a misappropriation of my school tax dollars.

My wife and I have been fiscally responsible and are doing OK, yet we received a 300.00 grocery voucher and bags of groceries each week - we don't need them.

I am told they do not have the administrative capacity to be prescriptive with the handouts.

Not knocking people in need, my daughter is friends with many of them and they are hard working good people. I just think we could better manage the taxes and support provided.

When do you move to Saudi Arabia, or North Korea, or whatever country you landed on that holds to your values?

America. Love it or leave it.

I am old enough to remember when redneck Viet Nam war hawks put those bumper stickers on their pick 'em up trucks.  Also a favorite saying of Archie Bunker.

You're in good company.

The media coverage of that event is what should be on trial in a federal court for overt sensationalism

The ones BillsTime posted are both facing 3 years in jail and $105,000 of fines. They’re both walking around with a GPS device on their leg right now.

Thats what we’re looking at for the people who just walked into the building. The penalties should be steeper but that’s far from a slap on the wrist.

What the justice system doesn’t take care of capitalism will like the one terrorist who was a realtor and now can’t get clients.

I remember that thread.    The thread starter was hilarious: a white bigot denying he's a racist and whining about "socialism"  while wanting to relocate EU countries with many more social supports than the US.         At the time I thought Paraguay would be a good choice but given the thread starter's liking for fascist dictators, I think Russia would be his best landing spot.

Do you know anything about the American legal system?  They were granted bail, fool, which means they aren't sitting in jail while they await trial.

Yeah, I'm part of that "pitchforks and torches mob" who wants traitors, insurrectionists, and murderers held responsible for their crimes, unlike you and your fellow self-proclaimed "patriots" who support a would be dictator who incited mob violence in a failed coup attempt.

What’s the problem with that post?  It points to the incredible hypocrisy of the American political system, and how people lose objectivity when emotion gets involved.

Watching the Dems trip over themselves without an ounce of reflection is quite telling.

I’m not going after anyone.  MWs comments were incendiary and were intended to incite violence when she made them, but you folks are cool with that sort of thing until you’re outraged.

Sick and gullible

Nothing you can do, the feeble minded will find this stuff and get sucked in.

The good thing is this does not hurt the democratic party. This hurt republicans who are not sided with people like this. The democrats don't need to do anything but watch this and document it.

This is going to be a problem for the more level headed republicans will need to deal with and extinguish. If not it will rip that party in half like it has shown to do in Georgia.

Stuff like this makes democrats stronger.

The repeated use of "confident" in the questions leads me to believe they arent aware of what "con" stands for in "con man". But they are learning. The hard way.

Weren't democrats confident that Hillary was going to win in 2016?  Why?

So you are saying you want to violate the first amendment’s free speech clause which allows freedom of assembly as upheld by the Supreme Court in NAACP v Alabama?

This country would be so much better off if the people that keep spouting off about the constitution actually knew what was in it.

What did ANTIFA do to Seattle and Portland ,  riot , loot , arson  ?   freedom of assembly  ?

What did Trump supporters do to the Capitol Jan 6  ?  freedom of assembly  ?

You’re saying throw all of ANTIFA in jail because of Portland and Seattle. By your logic then we should throw all Trump supporters in jail because of DC.

throwing all ANTIFA in jail is a violation of the constitution just like throwing all Trump supporters in jail would be.

Arrest those who break the law,  is that clear enough for you ?
