Bills depth chart has Ford listed first for RG and RT. Anyone know how they will line up tomorrow?

My guess is Ford at RT and Winters at RG.

Ford will play both spots. He will line up at RT next to Winters / Williams and RG next to Nsekhe / Williams I guess.

Ford's weakness is lateral quickness - so going against that POS Henry Anderson (who is quick on his outside rushes), we might see more of Ford at guard - but that is just a guess at this point.

Is it just alphabetical order?

I think Ford will start at RG until Feliciano is back.

And then he’s moved out to RT when he’s healthy?

feliciano is an unknown to me at this point.  He was decent. He wasn’t THAT good.  He’s on the last year of his contract and might not play another snap as a Bill imo.

I like the guy, but if Ford proves to be a beast at RG and still can’t handle that outside speed rush at RT, he should be our starter at RG.

Sal C. commented on this the other day.  He was talking with Daboll and he said that where he has been (mostly referencing New England under BB and Alabama with Saban, I think) it was common operating procedure to have "plug and play" offensive linemen who were expected to be able to move around and slot in at different spots on the line.

We may see movement from time to time and player to player for a while, maybe even the full season.

Will be interesting to see how the line solidifies, if it does.

That's my thinking as well, I think they roll with Ford and Williams on the right side. I think they want Ford long term at RT but given the Feliciano injury and the unexpected resurgence by Williams I think they get Cody to establish himself at RG before trying him out at RT again at some point in the future.

I think they're going to do some platooning

I still can't see them giving Cody Ford zero tackle reps.

It would be pretty stupid to give up on a tackle prospect with that size and athleticism that quick. You could literally find a guard in any round and anywhere in free agency

Tackles are a lot harder to develop and find

I don't really have a guess.  I do expect that whatever combination they use, they will be competent, and maybe pretty good.  Winters, Williams and Nsekhe are all solid players, and I expect Ford will have taken a pretty big leap forward.

Not totally give up.  Just keep him at RG at least for the year.  If Williams goes back to being a stud, they likely re-sign him for big money and Ford is stuck at RG anyway.

Ford is a better prospect than Williams coming out in my opinion. He has 5 years of experience on Ford which helps a lot

Ford is a freak athlete at his size, and absolutely has foot quickness to play tackle. Like everything with growing pains, you just need reps and patience

His tackle play at Oklahoma was much better than his guard play

Ford might have been a better prospect than Williams coming out of college, but Williams was 2nd team All-Pro at RT in the NFL whereas Ford struggled at RT last year.  That doesn't mean that Ford has no future at RT but it makes more sense to play the guys where they're currently best suited.  There will be time to develop Ford at RT should Williams not perform.

If they start Ford at OG and he does well, he ain’t moving out of that spot for the foreseeable future, even when Feliciano returns.

Williams has struggled at right tackle in his career his first couple seasons. And Ford had some good games last year

All players just need reps. I just wouldn't guarantee a transition to guard for Ford because we have Williams

Let the oline line gel things out for a bit and then reassess

Yeah, it depends on how Ford does. If he is average I think they'll start Feliciano and move Ford back to RT, but that also depends on how Williams or whoever they start at RT is doing.

If nothing else, Feliciano is an excellent backup interior olineman.

Not if he struggles.
