Here is one I tried as a kid and immediately rejected it... aspic salads. Larks tongue's? No, but I love the album. My aunts were proud of theirs... nice to look at, horrible to put in ones mouth.

FFS, that’s got to be a parody ad.

?

If you order it in blue and sew a ‘MOBIL’ patch on it, you can get a job in a gas station.  ?

Stuff like this was in playboy and other magazines all the time. You could either mail in $1.00 and they would send you a catalog, or you could call a number and order it over the phone. Sometimes there was a credit card option where you write it all in and mail it, too.

No, probably was in Playboy. That guy would be wearing a man bun today. Dont need to  see photos,  I lived them.Had a  green leisure suit when I was 13-14.

Not exactly clothes but technology.

What Stein Eriksen wore in the 1960s skiing... Check out the tight parallel on the big straight wooden boards w/leather boots!!!

A few short years later, tamed in 1967, they'd be wearing this and doing that, 1970s/80s... Still straight skis:

"Rockets, moon shots
Spend it on the have-nots
Money, we make it
Fore we see it, you'll take it

Oh, make you wanna holler
The way they do my life
Make me wanna holler
The way they do my life

This ain't livin' this ain't livin'
No, no baby, this ain't livin'
No, no, no, no

Inflation, no chance
To increase finance
Bills pile up, sky high
Send that boy off to die..."

every year at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, a farming and agricultural thing, we were bused to around 1971-75, this was our exposure and only chance to purchase the comic book and Crumb posters and Tip-n-Strip pens

Shelton is still alive and touring/signings... although, with all of the recent news he may have curbed that at his age.
