Besides the Shout Song - what in stadium traditions do we have?

I’ve always had this vision that every time we play the Patriots it rains dildos on the Patriots sidelines at the 2 minute warning of the 1st half. I pretty much envision it to be like this:

Would you happen to own one of those Adult Super Stores that has those billboards along the highway? Maybe looking to buy a boat, or a second home?

I like where your head is at. Whats the audio equivalent of a sucker punch or yard assault?  Probably one of those things that emits high frequency noise to the point of pain to deter Somali Pirates. Yes, a Long Range Acoustic Device aimed straight at the enemy huddle while the PA blasts a mixtape of WWI artillery barrage and hardcore porn sounds.  On 4th downs we play the brown noise then once their bowels are obliterated nail them with the LRAD and porn sounds.

Literally the Danley Matterhorn.

peeing in the sink in the bathroom

One of the unfortunate effects of whacking down down a fifth of Jack in the parking lot before coming into the stadium.

I have never had a drink at or outside of the stadium in two decades of attending games as an adult, so maybe I’m out of touch with this part of Bills fandom.  But the whole “using the sink as a p*ss trough” thing seems to have become far less prevalent lately.

Around the time of the SuperBowl years, when they first turned on the speakers in the stadium the first song they played was Neil Diamond Coming to America.  I have not been in the stadium that early anymore to know if they still do it.

the genesis/Phil Collins song “feel it in the air tonight” was a big thing back in  the day, too.  That song was a staple of warmups until maybe five years ago or so.

the one thing that’s new to the stadium that I really like is giving the mic to an alumni to lead the stadium in the “shout” refrain before the game.  Great new tradition.

Two words (for the older of us out here) "Whammy Weenies'

Nothing inspires more than a green weenie waving in the night air...

During a Monday night game many years ago, we were in the corner endzones and there was a dude waving a pickle in the midst of thousands of Whammie  Weenies!

I was so proud that night!?

I've always loved the damn thing and always will!

It's not interactive though, and thus just some noise. It if anything quiets the crowd for a moment. Hate it.

The rumble of charging buffalos would fire up the crowd more. They used to do that before kickoffs. They had a winter scene of charging buffalo from Dances with Wolves maybe. It was awesome.

Like this but with hunters edited out...feel like it was a snow scene too. With super bass.

They need more buffalo related things. The animal..."Let it snow" singalong every game, which works in all weather. The marv song. The generic stuff is generic.

Football atmosphere that doesn't sell out because the people who actually buy season tickets don't like the cold.

Its also the weeks between Thanksgiving & Christmas when no one goes back to visit. There’s a good chuck of fans that no longer live in the area and come back to visit friends, family & go to a Bills game

You do realize that season ticket holders who don't show up for games have contributed more to "selling out" than fans who don't spend anything, right?

Soccer stadium style, but one that holds 65k people.

Image result for Turf Moor

and a dome.  That will amplify the noise!!  I'd have it at 70K people.

I was in Cleveland for a wedding in ‘04. On Sunday, we went to the Eagles-Browns game. The G.E. Smith band was the house band & played during timeouts. That was cool. The Bills were getting shellacked in Baltimore but the out of town scoreboard omitted the Ravens because Cleveland not only rocks, it remembers.

I don’t like the train whistle. Most fans around the league don’t need encouragement to make noise for 3rd down. Back in the ‘90s they’d play a video of Fred & Barney in their water buffalo hats chanting “Let’s Go Buffalo”.

Random ideas:

I’d like Goo Goo Dolls to do a punk version of “Shout!”. Play that for FGs & safeties. Play the regular version for TDs.

Before kickoff - Marv asking his team, “Where else would you rather be than right here, right now? When it’s too tough for them, it’s just right for us!”

Before the start of the 4th, play the scene from “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” when Phoebe Cates is getting out of the pool but interrupt it and have super fan Elvis say, “What are you looking at? There’s a Bills game on!” This would never fly but it would be funny.

Disclaimer: I haven’t been to a home game since JP Losman’s debut.

really like those ideas!
