Daboll

Could just be me  but between McD's pressor about "coaching his coaches", Daboll's demeanor, and this little suck/lip smack sound he makes, I believe it is possible he got taken to the woodshed today.  He kind of had a similar demeanor after the GB game.

Or maybe I wrong him.  Maybe he takes himself.

Daboll has the demeanor of a man that recently received a stern talkin’ to! I have a feeling he is on a short leash.

I believe you are correct in your assessment my friend.

One can only hope the leash is short after the s*** playcalling we have seen for about half of each game this year.

Sounds like an OC who is handcuffed by his QB and his 8 fumbles. Not good enough. They have to do a better job at fundamentals and techniques.

If the QB fumbling is a known issue, why all the designed runs ? Having him run a QB sweep backed up in their own end sounds foolish, no? They do have RBs on the team, but that seems lost on Daboll.

You are right. That then following up with the McD video cements that truth.

It would stand to reason.   The winds are howling.   He should have taken a cue from Pedersen and run the football.   What was he trying to prove?

I think Dabs knows there are RBs on the team. Dabs like the extra blocker for the qb option runs. It’s a talent issue. Josh has to answer next week and get better at protecting the football.

Daboll should be ashamed of that crap game plan against a terrible secondary. I know the weather sucked I was there, but you don’t draft a kid with a rocket arm to try to establish a running game against a stout run d and a terrible secondary.  Let the kid play QB and stop trying to use him as a running back.  They didn’t come out and attack and I still am baffled by the choice to accept the opening kickoff and come out with those plays called.

I thought they tried running way too much and their formations were huge tells that they were running, and didn’t use screens enough.

Just some facts. 46 fumbles in 202 games (3477 rushes, 462 receptions).  It does not list whether he had any fumbles on special teams plays.

1 in close to 4-5 games. This season Gore has taken care of the football. My comment was alluding to that but thank you for the stats- much appreciated.

Even if he thinks the QB fumbling is under control, Allen had just been stripped (and recovered) earlier in the game.  So maybe put that playcall aside for another day.

Bs. He has plenty of TEs and a FB in Dimarco

if he wants an “extra blocker”.  Daboll is awful, his resume speaks for itself.

But that resume includes NE and Alabama. Oh wait, they are still winning without him. My bad......

I like Gore or DiMarco in that situation. Not only has Daboll been calling horrible games but his situational football has really been bad also.
