Maybe we miss Jordan Mills?

Recommended Posts

Mills was the definition of mediocre .... but Ford is not, I repeat IS NOT ready to play RT in this league.  Put the kid at RG if you must, but stop this maddening rotation at the position

Don’t miss him but our line is still an issue. With Ty hurt, it’s not looking great for whoever our QB is.

No.

And it’s not just Ford who struggled yesterday.  Dawkins did not have a good day.  Lee Smith (essentially an extra OL) was flat out awful.  From my perch in the stadium (well away from this play) it looked like Feliciano was blown up on the 3rd and goal in which Gore was stopped for a loss.  Morse took a penalty and was steamrolled into Allen’s lap at least one IIRC, too.   Bad day at the office for the OL, but things will get better.

Tackles are struggling big time.... at the moment we can stop worrying about being conservative with the salary cap to pay Dion Dawkins. Guy isn't a cornerstone LT.

Hell no that is like me saying I miss Marshall Newhouse who actually started at LT for the Pats and treated like an all pro by the Refs.

We need to use up high draft picks and top money to fix our oline once again next offseason.

Desperately need a franchise LT. It's a bit depressing how after so much investment Beane put in over the summer our oline still looks like a mess. Allen takes massive hits almost every single drive.

This is getting silly now. We lost to the SB champs by 6 points. The sky isn't falling.

I miss Mills like I miss having the clap

When are the Pats ever NOT treated like NFL royalty? Hell, even Michael Bennett is a "model citizen" in their eyes now.

We still have the clap. He's the coach of this team.

The coach who's created one of the top defenses in the league? Yeah, he's terrible

Tweak not overhaul is needed. Allen takes some of the blame for just holding onto the ball too long as well.

You missed the joke... he's the "clapper" on the sidelines. I love McD

Ah, apologies! There's so much complaining today by people I didn't even see that

I would rather see Ford have coachable moments than a Vet like Mills being a turnstile.

Maybe the kid can learn, but we know Mills is what he is.

No! What I miss is why they keep trying to make Ford a starter? Go with the Nsekhe and let Ford learn.

Not all rookies start right away and excel. Regardless of the position. Overreaction Monday is in full swing.

Next time you tell a joke include a hint that it is a joke especially when it is not funny.

If Mills were mediocre, I'm sure he would still be on an NFL roster at this point in his career (he's only 28).

I'll take Ford, who has tremendous growth potential, over Mills any day.

Mills, Bodine, Groy, and Ducasse all unemployed and for good reason.

If Allen was the type of QB to take a 3 step drop & get the ball out on time, people here would be saying how great the Oline is.

But because of this past game, where Allen didnt take what the defense was giving him & he held on to the ball too long, people over react a bit & ask if Jordan Mills would be better.

No, he wouldnt be. Mills would get pushed back on the 1st step of that drop.

Not to say we don't need to improve our oline, but we all knew that going into this season.
