Kelly the Dog Posted September 22, 2019 Share Posted September 22, 2019 If you win the toss you get one of five choices. Defer, Kick, take the ball, defend one end or defend the other. Then the next team gets to choose. If they choose to defer we have to choose to take the ball. If we take the wind, they can defer and get the ball in the first half. I was standing outside in line because gate 7 was a half 35-minute wait, but I assume we won the toss, took the ball, and the bengals took the ball to start the second half ... But if you defer, the other team gets to take the ball, kick or defend either goal. If they don't take the ball then it's your choice again and you would take it. Team A gives the choice to Team B to decide if they want to receive or kickoff. Team A then gets same choice in second half to kick or receive. ea team can do what they want with their choice.
