Mitch Morse - his special bond with his brother

I'd rather have a team of players like Morse than A-hole ABs

Thanks for sharing Reed.  That was great.  Poor kid to have that happen to him, but boy does his family love him.  He sure brings joy to them all.   Proud that Mitch Morse is a Buffalo Bill.

What an amazing story and family.  As others have said, couldn't be happier that he's a Bill.  Hope the concussions are a thing of the past and he's a Bill for a long time.

I read the article that came out in the off season. Such a tragic story. Babysitter shook the baby. That's why his brother is like that. But the family chose to forgive and move forward.

Great story.  I've never met the family but understand.   I've been in the business of care giving for individuals like Robbie for the past 23 years and my wife of 32 years is a Special Olympics coach.

With all my experience(s) I still don't think I understand the sacrifices families like Mitch's have to make.  It's overwhelming to say the least.

Proud to have this young man on our team.  Also proud that our organization actively seeks these type of people to build our team with.

It's no accident that there are a lot of "stories" represented by members of the Buffalo Bills.  Our stories have a significant role in shaping who we are, and the kind of players McDermott and Beane are looking for are more often than not are going to have some great stories.

And it's easy to see how a team full of guys like this can accomplish more than a team full of prima donnas.

Great story.

Della Donne - WNBA player of the year again this year - has a very similar story.

I really didn't expect the Bills, Mitch Morris and his brother to give us a "Win" on Friday, but I'll take it.

...also my memory is faulty, is Mitch Morris that guy we signed that complained about his helmet not fitting and refused to practice or was it that guy we weren't able to trade for because he laughed about coming here?

I think I prefer Mitch...I think I feel more comfortable rooting for Mitch...and his brother.

Kind of puts our weekly game preoccupations/occasional Board silliness into proper perspective.

Indeed brother it does.

Wow as if I needed more reasons to like what this team is all about.

That was a awesome piece on a awesome person the guy is pure gold for the Bills team & it makes more sense now why he wanted to be here with the team being more of a family oriented type place than other teams ..

Thanks for the post.

I wonder how many of Mitch's teammates think his signing was a bad move by Beane?

My guess would be zero.

First class guy. I get the sense he has been through more than a lot of us but he doesn’t mind a bit. Loved the signing before I knew anything about his history. Love it more now. Mitch deserves years of success on and off the field.

Awesome story and good for him and his family that he is so well grounded.  A ver nice alternative to the AB stories coming out.
