Bill Belicheck is a genius and I'd love to listen to him talk football for hours

Tom Brady is incredible. I can't ever picture someone else winning 6 super bowls. His consistency over 20 years truly amazing to see.

Doug Whaley assembled a very talented team. If they had hired Jim Schwartz, Whaley would still be here.

Seeing how he grumbles everything in shore replies .....  you'd be listening to 2 seasons worth in just 1 hour

we're on to team 1

  • Win - we played well
  • Loss - we should have played better

we're on to team 2

  • Win - we played well
  • Loss - we should have played better

...

...

we're on to team 16

rinse repeat

I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone who fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
And so I learned to depend on me

I decided long ago
Never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity

Because the greatest
Love of all is happening to me
I found the greatest
Love of all inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

That you've been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love

My life after going sober from fantasy football has been less stressed and plain old more enjoyable as a fan. FF takes away from being a fan of only one team, imho.

I think maybe you took your FF too seriously ?

Jim Kelly was a big reason we lost all 4 Super Bowls. If we had Dan Marino I feel we could have won the first and last one.

Trent Murphy will lead the team in sacks in 2019.

As much as anybody involved with this franchise (understandably) doesn't want to admit it, OJ is the greatest Buffalo Bill ever.

I'd say second best as think Bruce was better. As he sustained his dominance longer.

Watching AFL football was more fun that watching the current NFL

Tailgating will work out fine if and when the stadium is built downtown

Using the terms hater. homer or  Kool Aid drinker should earn the user a permanent ban

Oh without a doubt! I rocked that waiver wire every Tuesday lol. But that’s part of it, for me it wasn’t a good fit with my personality, and I see that now on the other side. It’s fine for a lot of others tho.

I have 4 FF teams a year - I also have a Premier League soccer one to manage... I reckon it takes me no more than 20 mins a week and while I watch the scores on a Sunday - my focus is ALWAYS on the Bills game and only the Bills game. I might look at my FF at HT but that's it.

Sorry man, you know I couldn’t let that go, right? :D XXV—what exactly would Marino have done differently against a Giants O that ate up the clock since our D never came off the field? Kelly was serviceable and drove us to potential game winner FG; for XXVI I’d agree he had bad game, despite 2 TDs late; XXVII he was hurt early by that cheap shot Norton Jr going after his knees (in today’s NFL prob ejected for it) and it was up to Reich; XXVIII was actually a decent outing—Beebe should’ve held on to a deep strike TD early, and Thurman probably most to blame for turning that game with his fumble in 3Q. But most importantly, Marino had multiple chances to be the guy in those SB’s and could not ever beat Kelly to get there, so there’s that. And how did his own SB appearance turn out in 84?

How many Super Bowls did Dan Marino get to?

I always respected and feared Dan in every match up, but his dependence on just passing is what held the team back IMO

Good one. He is like many people I work with who can recite Lean and the Toyota Production System principles. Sounds great. Continuous improvement. Get better each day. Error proof. It makes sense. Until you realize players aren't machines and that some teams just have more talent.

I know that continuous improvement culture and some have the language down cold.  Still, as a former consultant I worked with said: "Sweat doesn't count, results do."

At this point in the season each franchise is 0-0 and predictably everyone is excited about their team's prospects.  Still, it's getting harder to be a good team and if you're not ahead of the curve you're losing.  McCoach strikes me as someone who has a plan for everything, but when the proverbial bullets start flying, he's not going to change his stripes.  He's a defense first coach who wants to do ball control, perhaps a few throws downfield, and win with close games.
