Cards thoughts From M. Silver. 49ers have S Thomas on the block

Recommended Posts

This is starting to feel like "Haslam talked to a homeless guy about Johnny Football".

"We did all this work, 3 guys emerged, we are going to take Drew Lock because we are the Cardinals".

It's amazing how a team so boring as the Cardinals is getting talked about this much.

So their evaluation aligns with everybody on the planet. Truly shocking.

How many times can / should a team remake a highlight video?  I always thought revisionist history would be the purview of governments, not an NFL team.  😁

I truly feel like this is all MUD for the dog and pony show that is the draft.

NFL: Hey Cards- we will fake Kyler’s height measurement at the combine if you promise to keep the drama flowing on the 1st pick until 8pm on the 25th mmmmkay?

Cards: Done.

I would say 3. With all of the talk of the Jets wanting to move down and the Redskins, among others, wanting to move up there is no way he slips to Oakland at 4.

If the Cardinals pass on Murray, I think the Raiders go to 2 to take him.

I think the Cardinals want to take Murray but are terrified of the PR of taking back to back QBs and nuking any of Rosen's remaining trade value.

Please go Murray, Cards.  It would be great from multiple aspects.

Watch out for an Atlanta/Bills trade.  I think there will be a team wanting to get ahead of Denver for Devin Bush.

The NFL instructs the teams and the reporters to make the first pick suspenseful. Don't listen to any of that crap though. It's obvious Murray is the pick at #1.

That’s an intriguing option right there, of course of course depending on the asking price.

Alt was rumored to be moving up for a DT.  Why would Buffalo let them get a quality DT?

Bush to me is like Lee - fast but will he be effective with big bodies on him?

I could see us making that deal contingent upon Quinnen Williams and Ed Oliver being off the board.
