Beyond puzzling. The guy was done 5 years ago. Be better off checking on Freddy’s interest

He's averaged nearly 1K yards over the past 5 seasons, and would have been Bills' leading rusher last season

Ironically, you almost never say anything logical.......so I thought I would give you credit for this line.   Good line.

BADOL, I find myself in an interesting position this morning: Agreeing with you!

It feels weird. But we're both okay with Gore potentially being added, right?

This is the first (and maybe last?) time this happens. ?

I'm fine with it...he'd be a decent RB2 and a stabilizing locker room presence for a team that's got a clear leadership void--especially on the offensive side of the ball.

I guess I'm one of the few who agrees with you.

Bringing in Frank Gore with less than 500k guaranteed to camp would be a good thing for the expected mid round rookie RB

and a wealth of experience for Josh Allen to pick up on would be OK with me even if he didn't make the end of camp cuts.

Why does this organization feel the need to dumpster dive when they have $80 million in their wallet?

I don't want to jump the gun, but a story like this is really troubling.

When you have 80 mill to work with and the OL being a major need...................... and something like this is your first move. Ouch.

If this is the case, the Bills might as well be 40 mill over the cap.

But like I said, I don't want to put the cart before the horse.

That moment you realize this is the signing Shady was talking about in that cryptic post...

In all seriousness, if Gore signs for peanuts, who cares... a Shady/Gore backfield behind an improved OL is more than adequate.  I wouldn't mind keeping Ivory and rolling with those three and then addressing the position next offseason.

RB is pretty much dead last on my wish list for FA/Draft.

Ah.  I forgot that age is what determines wins and losses.  Here I am thinking that performance matters.

If his performance is so amazing why would he even be available? He doesn’t have character issues and doesn’t want more or even make a lot of money. Seems like he would be the type of guy a team would hang onto?

I love how "first thing reported" = "This is your first move" to people.

Just because its the first thing we've heard from the media doesn't mean it's the first priority of the Bills.

Sheesh. People sure are fidgety, reactionary, and awful during free agency. I had forgotten.

I would imagine Gore is a "Process" Guy.

Back to normal after the abbreviated AB pursuit.

Bring on the former Panthers UFAs!

I love Gore........but to be honest I've been looking at the UFA list in recent weeks and I just don't see a lot of good marriages for the Bills.

Gore to me was an OBVIOUS match.

Darryl Williams at $12M per is too.

After that........don't see much.

I guess Trey Flowers is on their radar but as good as he is he really is going to have a hard time justifying $17M+ per year.    Coffee is for closers and he has Jerry Hughes disease........very good but doesn't seal deals at the QB enough.

Apply this thinking to every single UFA.  Guys hit the market for a LOT of reasons.

I'm 100% certain that he's on the market because of his age.  Now drop the straw man argument, since I don't recall saying that he was "amazing".

My post read:

"I'm fine with it...he'd be a decent RB2 and a stabilizing locker room presence for a team that's got a clear leadership void--especially on the offensive side of the ball."

Feel free to disagree, but try to be sensible about it.
