I caught the end of the Xavier game. The block/charge with 2 secs left I thought the ref should have just let that go. Though it didn’t really affect the outcome. Obviously not the outcome you wanted but exciting to watch. Better than anything else on TV. I guess though that’s what makes Nova #1. I so wanted Coby to drive the lane on that last possession...still, a fun game and I'm not crushed by the defeat. Heels will still be the top 2-seed or 4th 1-seed. We learned two things last night: 1 - Dook is a better basketball team with Zion 2 - Even with Zion, Dook is not vastly superior to UNC I think the two best teams in the country played last night. We'll see how the tournament shakes out.

Naji left the floor then the defender stepped into his path and planted. He’s allowed to come down. It was close, but Xavier should have been shooting free throws for the game there. Oh well.... Turk71
The Oregon Ducks are going to the dance on an 8 game winning streak. Playing great right now, would not be surprised if they get to the 16.

Augie
The tournament will be the tournament. But the selection show is a bit too painful for me when you know we went from a #1 seed last year to....... out. Transition year, but OUCH! Xavier will be back! I can’t remember the last time we missed out.

Unfortunately......is it too soon to start a poll guessing who will come along to poach the HC? I’ve been through this far too many times. It’s not like the NFL where everybody is highly paid, to some degree. The big schools can easily double the pay of even medium, historically top 25 schools. You need one good hire after another, and a bad..... Never mind! Rejoice if you are in! (FWIW - I’m a big believer in Travis Steele at Xavier, just got left with an empty bench by his former boss.) What could say, Ohio State or Louisville, or maybe Arizona offer? Unless the buyout is half the National debt, nothing is safe. (And Arizona may actually have an opening. I did not pick those schools randomly.)

I think was Akron that beat them recently. Vermont either has their only tournament win or the first one in forever against them. Maybe I just remember the ones that hurt more. But 2012 and forward has had mostly good runs.

Been a UCLA fan my whole life (although that's waned over the past few years due to poor coaching and seemingly no direction of the program). Not necessarily a fan of the Pac12. Oregon went 0-2 against a VERY poor UCLA team, blew both games. The Pac 12 and most of it's teams wouldn't be top tier in the MAC. It's a sad state of affairs here out west. Pac 12 football and basketball have been down for a few years.
