What do you want them to rule on?? No wish list guys, or is this all an exercise of spitting in the eyes of the majority in this country? Trump is not from "We the People" he is a minority president and the senate too is a tool of the minority. Everything is in place for a mini-apartheid.

Minority Party?  Here's your reality check:

US Senate - 51-49 Republican

US HOR:  238 - 197 Republican

State Governors: 34-15 -1 Republican

State Senates:  36-14 Republican

State Houses:  31-18 Republican

Who exactly is the minority party here?

And GTFO of here with your "apartheid" BS.

You need to learn the difference between conservatives and liberals.  Conservatives don't dream of the day they get to make everyone behave as we wish.

I hope they bring back duelling.

That'll fix a lot of what ails this country.

I am a YUGE fan of this thought process.  Long overdue

Or TBD posters for that matter.

Well to answer the question posed by this thread, I've watched some CNN this week and from what they've been reporting, getting BK on the court will likely mean Roe/Wade will be overturned.  From their reporting it seems like BK will walk in and along with the other conservative justices overturn this ruling within a year and without a case even being brought.  They'll simply do it because they are the Supreme court.

Silly question, since it's likely to come up in all of this - who overseas the supreme Court?

My point isn't so much as the actual answer because the question is rhetorical. The framing of causing the sheep to fear the court could be simple and easily done by Democratic strategists.

A socialist push removing ICE, the EC, SCOTUS (in favor of tribunals on a local level), and all things on a basic anarchist level would be a great way to cause fear in the base and manipulate to country.

I'm shocked that USA Today ran that column. However, the guy isn't wrong - especially about the "legal scholars" turning on a dime. Full-time law professors rarely have any actual experience handling cases as an attorney.

In fact, when I went to law school, the full-time professor on staff with the most experience as a lawyer worked for a law firm for about 5 years back in the early 70's. The practitioner-taught classes were far more useful.

I bet they'll bring back slavery. Pretty sure.

I have full confidence that not only will the Court bring back slavery, but it will also revert women back to the status of property. Marital rape will be allowed once again, and rape shield laws will be voided.

It'll be great. You just purchase your new wife from her father, then abuse the crap out of her for the next 50 years. All because of Kavanaugh.

Sounds just like America during the Democrat's formative years.

This is going to be even better when Ginsburg gets replaced, and then again when Breyer goes (he's only five years younger than Gisnburg).

Combine that with a voluntary retirement for Thomas, and President Trump will get to nominate five Justices, securing a 7-2 Court for the next 20 years.

I think the phrase "counting chickens before they are hatched" is appropriate here.

It's a prediction.

I'd be willing to wager the purchase of a hat from the Bills team store on it.

Since I would like to see your court, even if I lose I win.  So you're on.   I win if it doesn't happen before Trump leaves office.
