Super Bowl Menu

Recommended Posts

  • Wings - fried, homemade.  Will have a hot sauce, medium sauce and a Thai chili sauce.
  • Jalapeno poppers - fried, homemade.  Filled with cream cheese, cheddar and bacon bits (real bacon).
  • Buffalo chicken pizza - bagged dough.  Will season the dough.  Toppings, chicken breast (baked) bathed in Frank's.  Frank's wing sauce as the base; mozzarella/cheddar cheese, green and red peppers, chicken and bacon bits, then drizzled with blue cheese and Frank's red hot.
  • Buffalo chicken meatballs - mix a bottle of Frank's wing sauce with a packet of dry ranch dressing; add premade balls; put in crockpot for a few hours.
  • Chili/cheese nachos.
  • Buffalo chicken dip - the basic cream cheese, Frank's and chicken breast.
  • Taquitos - frozen in the box.  This has been an annual tradition that my son loves.

It'll just be me, my son and my brother.  Anyone is welcome to come, as there will be a LOT of food!!!

What you got?!?!?

Dayum! what time ?

re: dip, add chunky bleu cheese dressing to the pot:)

Myself, I'm kinda fond of Sweet Baby Ray's buffalo wing sauce..

Make my own meatballs with ground turkey that can be had (for some reason) cheaper than chicken. I bake them.

Sounds awesome!

You invite the whole cell-block?

Pretty basic in my house. Pre-game we'll have chili and during the game:

Cheeseburger Sliders

Pigs in Blankets

Chicken Wings (hot sauce)

Mozzarella Sticks

Chips and salsa

Is the Thai chili sauce homemade or store bought? Could you share the recipe or brand? Love Thai chili but I've only ever had it out.

We will be home.  No party.

Wine

left overs from tonight.  Wife had pasta and meatballs and I had hell’s seafood    Lobster, scallops, and shrimps on pasta. Spicy white garlic sauce.

I ate leftover seafood pasta once. Never again. No need to elaborate.

Everything on your menu is spicy. I would need some Pepto to survive that.

How do you make those poppers? I was thinking of trying that in my new air fryer.

Halve the jalapenos

Cake the filling in the halves

Dip in milk, then flour, let them rest for 10 min

Dip in milk, then bread crumbs, let them rest for 10 min

Dip in milk, then bread crumbs, let the rest for 10 min

Fry at 375 until golden brown.

But I'm frying in a deep fryer with peanut oil.

EDIT:  I roasted the jalapenos tonight to soften them up a bit, and threw them in the fridge until tomorrow.

Whatever looks good on the menu at the casino.

Turned out we did the buffet and had Prime rib, smashed spuds, pizza, sweet n sour wings, lo mein, sesame chicken, fried rice, shrimp and chocolate mint pie. I was stuffed.

Yall eat way too much "Buffalo Wing" sauce..I love Buffalo Wings, but don't want 4 things on a menu of 7 things to all taste like Buffalo Sauce!

Now, as per my menu, we go to a friends house, and he breads his wings..and to be nice I have to eat them! Dreading it already!
