So, not a real committed fan then?

Like how team-whipped are some of you guys? I swear, some of y'all act like you have the mind of a child prostitute being beaten by his or her pimp.

I'd say it was good for OP's health to not have witnessed those other teams, in person.

Better days are here.  Dust off the grill, throw on the zubaz and get back on that horse.

might do that///the post was suppose to allow those who have been fans attending games for years a memory of old things they may remember. Maybe I was a bit to melancholy, but who is a real fan and doesn't have too many tailgators shirts....in their drawer.

maybe McD will bring back the days when we can stroll along Jim Kelly Blvd with our chins up. If he does maybe I will visit Hammers.

That really is awesome.....it's true heart break year after year....and I understand the utter despair as a fan you must feel to pour your heart and soul into something that extends beyond the football field, beyond a tailgating lot, and into the homes and lives of the people we come to call friends through this medium of football....I am empathetic as I've been on the brink of throwing up my hands and walking away....it's hard to explain this draw, this magnetic determination to keep circling back to the flame of football, but it's there...and despite the anguish it's brought us as fans, we pine for it's return the moment the season ends, like an evil lover whose damage is deep but whose desire runs deep....hopefully, this means you'll come back around and stay again....but I (and I'm sure others) understand if this was just a momentary lapse in judgment while your logical self tells you to - RUN.

Bills games gave me some of the best memories in my life....fans, friends, passion, beer, cheer, emotion, and today as I opened the cupboard they all came flooding back.

thanks for realizing that.

maybe next year I will end my self imposed exile...

Hey I hear ya Niagara.

I’m walkin after 15 years. Yeah I know, I know, they broke the drought and all, but what better year to walk?

Snow game was legendary, we back doored into the playoffs, fun season!

And to wrap it up, I hit 100 home games in a row vs. Miami.  Haven’t missed a home game since 11/2004.

But now, as we put The Drought to rest, I must pass the torch.

It was a fun run. I will still be there for a lot of games. Just don’t have all 8 per season in the gas tank anymore.

Idiotic posts like this need to be removed from forums, This is a great attempt to troll at a topic. I bet you NEVER had season tickets and the financial burdens it could add.

Its a tough decision of Enjoyment over worthy of spending money on the product on the field. To call a person "not a real fan" cause he stopped spending money on season tickets do to a bad product is outrageous.

Get a life.

I like the post. He has just as much right to post in here as anyone else. His years of dedication to the team, and probably tens of thousands of dollars spent, certainly justify his opinions, but in reality, even that is not needed.

Why criticize and/or try to psychoanalyze? Some of y'all are just sad, really sad.

I’m not sure if that last statement was meant toward my reply, but if so - it wasn’t intended to psychoanalyze the OP, but instead pay homage to how profound our connection to football runs...and how football becomes a network of various forms of relationships, and to essentially offer a sympathetic ear. If that’s too much for you, that’s on you - and if it wasn’t directed toward my reply - then you need not to have even read this far.

Cheers to 2018 and whole new Offense!!

I found out this last season that you can just stroll down memory lane in the parking lot - come for the tailgate - beat the traffic out. Catch the game at some bar without the $11 beers and drunken crowd.

I thought it was a cool walk down memory lane.

Clearly, game day meant a lot to you for a long time.  I won't tell anyone how to spend their money and by no means am I questioning your fandom.  Bills games used to bring you a lot of happiness and I hope they can again one day in the near future.  Cheers.

there has been nothing easy about hanging on as a season ticket holder. I don't blame anyone who bailed. Still in after 14 years with three other guys at work. Going it alone would be too big a hit. This is the first time in 14 years I've felt legitimate hope
