Of course.  So I guess bullying him is ok again.   <_<

A lot of unknowns here.  The confederate flag posts by mom doesn’t have anything to do with the kid being bullied.  However....if it turns out that the kid was calling kids the N-word (as has been rumored), and this contributed to his negative peer interactions. To me, that would be a different situation than pure bullying.

It’s possible the kid is completely innocent, and then my heart goes out to him.  If he was also provoking the situation, then shame on his parents for exploiting him.

No harder job right now than being the principal of that school.

and there is the sister taking to social media claiming that the family did not in fact set up a gofundme account after earlier confirming that it was legit, and people finding the same sister's social media account making racist statements.  this is just a mess from the start and some of the athletes that jerked their knees are now speaking out about feeling as they were duped(in one instance because the mother claims she needs money for christmas)

All I could think when I saw the original video was to ask why the mother was filming that.  I haven't seen anything beyond that.

I'm not so sure I can call him the best Batman though.  He just never seemed physically imposing enough for the part.

Exactly why was the mom recording it.

Why do they need me a go fund me account with over 50 grand now.

Also, most kids are bullied, I hope my son doesn't have to deal with much of it but I was tormented. You start to learn about yourself in school and how resilient you can be. Just reach back and knock the F! out of one of them.......it will stop.

I'd love to know how much money go fund me has made because of stupid causes like this one.  They must wet themselves when the nightly tug at the heart strings story airs on the national news.

The more I listen to and read about this story, I have drawn a couple hypotheses.

This looks to be a very sad, lonely little boy who was speaking sincerely, but was also being grossly misguided by the people who are supposed to be there to protect him.

The mother seems to be a piece of garbage, and I’m not overly concerned about the flag stuff.  Hell, I see confederate flags hanging from homes where I live in the mountains of Vermont.  Doesn’t bother me.  Mom is clearly exploiting her son’s pain and misfortune for her own personal benefit.  I hope she gets a painful anal fissure.

The school has done a really nice job of handling this situation.  Both in house and in the public eye.

You are probably right.  a problem i had is, as soon as the story started coming out that there might be some shenanigans going on, this kid was made fun of for his looks on social media.  He certainly is not the one driving this thing, but this family(ie Mo and Daughter) seem to be cut of the same cloth.

IMO, Michael Keaton remains the best Batman because he's the best "never saw it coming" casting of Batman that made his take on the character unique and captivating to watch.

Most of the other guys who've played Batman absent maybe Bale, you know what you're getting.  Clooney was the worst.  (George Clooney plays the same character in every movie.)

As for the kiddo in the video, I genuinely feel bad for him because there's a lot of kids like him in the world that get bullied every day and some take their own lives and to me, that's unimaginable to deal with as a parent.  That mother however, strikes me as one of those desperate loudmouth single parent types that says "you don't know me!" and "haters" a lot during the course of a day.

Why was it being recorded was my first question on Sunday.  And, then the thing that made me feel like it was even less genuine was that she asked something like "Are you the only one?" and he cried Yeah.  That wasn't what she was looking for so she asked again in a leading way - and this time he answered the way she wanted, and that led him into his rant about other children.  (Which was what I saw people pick up on - they liked they he was concerned about other children, too)

The morning news in my area reported that he asked his mom to video it.

Which I thought was really !@#$ing weird that a kid would ask his mom to film that.  Either that's some BS the mom told the news, or that kid's parents have done a ****ty job of teaching him how to deal with his issues.

Where's the father or significant other?

Deplorables & Snowflakes need Christmas money too.

Shame kids are picked on, I think it's a real shame.  Really.  Stability in the home with a firm foundation of faith and spiritual well being, optimism is usually the vaccine against a lot of problems.  Doing well with grades/studies next.  The rest is water off a duck's back.

Put down the social media (when it can't be handled or the children have rough) people.  Put down the shovel, stop digging the hole:
