OJ set the standard for his era and was not even close to being stoppable when defenses knew exactly what was coming. he carried that team on his back. I think the relative impact of position plays in here. Bruce is a slightly more historically great DE than OJ is relative to running back piers... however RB impacts the game more than a DE... therefore OJ may get the 'edge' Disagree. His knee injury in preseason also made OJ possible. Only Bill QB to end his season with a W in TWO championship games. Distinguished record of public service after football.
