wiskibreth Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Unless...Drew Brees. Or Alex Smith. They weren't established "franchise" QB's at the time they were traded. Brees had an injury issue which was thought by some to be career ending, and wasn't exactly lighting things up -hence drafting Eli (umm Rivers). Smith was benched in favor of Kaepernick, and had a very "spotty" career in terms of performance up until that trade.
