the album version

vs the live version: 2 very different sounds. The first almost country. The second all rock and roll * clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap***

the last one is my favorite

Quote

Well, when you're sitting there in your silk upholstered chair
Talkin' to some rich folk that you know
Well, I hope you won't see me in my ragged company
Well, you know I could never be alone

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave

Stop those voices in your head
They eat away your will
You've everything you need

Hate the way they make you weak
They bring you to your knees
And steal your power away

Girls talk ***** when you're backed up against it
Don't believe any word that they hear
And you can't do what it is that you want
Without some little B word in your ear

And girls talk *****, making no bones about it
When you're something that they don't understand
When they see that you got caught with your pants down
When they see you got caught with your pants down

Buy into the things they say
You'll lose your common sense
You've everything you need

Love to bring you to your knees
And watch you as you bleed
And give your power away

Back when I was younger and better looking, I got invited to a TC concert by an... absolutely stunning girl.  I couldn't make the show, feigning work and deadlines, but really it was because she was huge into soccer.  Granted we could have had a lovely evening and who knows what from there, but I ran into her too often in life, and just the thought that I might end up having to go to soccer matches eeked me out more than the potential pluses.  Adding that to the list, and for a multitude of reasons, I absolutely despise soccer.   I think I missed a good concert, though

I can't believe it's been over five years since the death of the great DJ, Avicii.

Think of all the great songs he would have given us over the last five years...such a shame.

Here is a well-done tribute video of one of the last songs he worked on before his death:

I posted this Eminen clip because it truly is a powerful video looking into the face of a person suffering mental illness. The juxtoposition of these 2 songs is not only chilling but very sobering to me.

your clip brought me to this one.  Specifically a tune that could not be more in my musical wheelhouse and taste. Yes I am offically into shoegazy type bands. From  The Basement session by Sonic Youth .  I highly recommend this entire session  if this sound appeals to you even just a tad.

It’s a great song and one I feel a lot.

But I have a memory of a video of Bills fans randomly dunking opposing teams fans with a playground basketball set up.  This song was in the background.

Im not a fan of Bills mafia antics but I thought that video was funny.  Was like 2014ish.  The song just added to the greatness of that video
