Leafs didnt look so good in the 2nd period when they were up 5-1 and took the foot off of the gas and were then at 5-5. Nice to see them come out in the 3rd and finish them off. Good lesson for them! Ever watch film of them standing at the top of small waterfalls and snatching salmon out of the air? They are very good at that. Lehner is OK but he had a rough time last night and should have been pulled sooner than he was. I am already starting to think Housley may be a little out of his depth as a HC in the NHL. Sabres hockey is boring, though the brand we are playing is better than under Bylsma. Still a very bland, boring breed of hockey in the regular season these days. They are giving up a ton of goals. Any team can open up. Yeah, they skate. But, can they torque it down on D. Not slacking them... They are building a scoring team. Sounds like you didnt even watch the games? 7 goals is a lot in 2 games. But not as bad as the team 90 miles to the south, they have horrendous goaltending and gave up 8 goals in two games.
