I'm sure there are a few honest, real reporters out there still, but in 2020 I'm not sure how anyone can take any reporting at face value no matter what the outlet. Fake news abounds everywhere and from all sides unfortunately.

We need to send everything we hear through a smell test. Just like the media reporting that Russia is interfering in the upcoming elections to help Trump. Why would they do that when it makes sense for them to back Bernie? They don't back Trump, they back Chaos. Roughly half of our people are falling for that farce of a narrative and are actually supporting Russia.

Study: Most Journalists Are To The Left Of Bernie Sanders (But Don’t Worry They’re Totally Fair)

Journalists-ideology-2.jpg                Journalists-ideology-e1582147276692.jpg

An academic study by a trio of professors claims to have proven there is no such thing as media bias despite the fact that the same study found most journalists are much father left than the average Twitter user. In fact, a majority of journalists, based on their Twitter interactions, are somewhere to the left of Bernie Sanders.

From the study:

Figure 2 shows the distribution of ideological positions of journalists based on their Twitter interactions. As can be seen, journalists are dominantly liberal and often fall far to the left of Americans. A full 78.1% of journalists are more liberal than the average Twitter user. Moreover, 66% are even more liberal than former President Obama, 62.3% are to the left of the median Senate Democrat (in the 114th Congress), and a full 14.5% are more liberal than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (one of the most liberal members of the House).

In short, journalists are overwhelmingly liberal/Democrats and many journalists appear to be far to the left of the average American.

.

Mitt is to the right of the a average Senate Republican?

DC press ignorant of how government should run

By Don Surber

How can the press in Washington hold President Donald John Trump accountable when they do not understand what a president is?
The stories since the Senate soundly rejected the unconstitutional impeachment on February 5, 2020, have been as ignorant as they have been hysterical.
The Washington Post declared, "Trump lambastes his critics as he moves to target perceived enemies over impeachment."

The story cited Lieutenant Colonel Vindman leaving the National Security Council. But he left on his own to  attend war college, which is almost a guarantee of a promotion to full-bird colonel, and in a few years general. The president is trimming an Obama-bloated National Security Council of 310 people. He's done this by attrition. Recently, he sent 70 bureaucrats on the council back to their agencies.

President Donald John Trump fired nobody in this move. He cut the fat and in the case of the Brothers Vindman, the fatheads.

He has the power to fire anyone whose hiring required Senate confirmation (except of course, judges and justices). Nevertheless, the press wanted President Donald John Trump impeached over firing Jimmy the Weasel Comey as FBI director.

The propaganda machine at the New York Times irresponsibly ran the story "Critics Say Trump Broke the Law in Firing Comey. Proving It Isn't Easy."

Proving "it" is impossible because Comey served at the will and pleasure of President Donald John Trump. The president did not have to give any reason for canning the crooked cop.

Americans elected President Donald John Trump to be Comey's boss. Those who do not accept this are either ignorant of the Constitution or unpatriotic -- or more likely, both.

{snip}

The president fully can and should ignore those protocols because the DOJ is an agency out of control. It is too big and too powerful. Lesser presidents have been too weak, which has given the DOJ the attitude that it is an independent agency.

No. The president is not a figurehead in America. The president is the boss of the Department of Justice. Everyone in that department directly or indirectly to the attorney general. He reports to the president.

Let me make this clear: The president does not obey the bureaucracy; the bureaucracy must obey the president.

The press ignores that.

The Washington Post reported, "President Trump has instructed his White House to identify and force out officials across his administration who are not seen as sufficiently loyal, a post-impeachment escalation that administration officials say reflects a new phase of a campaign of retribution and restructuring ahead of the November election."

Translations: the sources who fed the Post lies about a Russian hoax and a phone call to Ukraine are being reassigned to positions where they cannot stab the duly elected president in the back.

Washington is corrupt and inept. We elected Donald John Trump to fix that. Most reporters in DC miss that because they are too close to the bureaucracy and the Democrat Party. Indeed, some reporters sleep with sources to get stories.

And they think they can get Americans to believe all their lies, misrepresentations, and hoaxes are justified as holding the president accountable?

The drop in TV ratings, newspaper circulations, and trust in the media show Americans are holding the DC press accountable.

...this is priceless stuff...running the government like a business?.....seriously?....."you're fired" doesn't exist for the parasitic "thought to be protected lifers"?......Trump terminations are thought to be a measure of his gross instability?.......we in the private sector have company philosophies and if we find you don't fit, adios....how or why should government be different?.....haven't we fed the parasites unchecked for YEARS until the "draining of the swamp" started?......you're a private sector employee busting your hump 40+ hrs/wk and towing the company line while your co-worker in the cubicle next door is a parasitic coaster....are you hoping management becomes aware and makes the necessary change or is the "government way (LIFER)" your preferred choice?....

Denmark is not a socialist country. It's a free market country with extensive social programs.

It's also tiny.

But besides that, her comparison is spot on

Denmark keeps correcting Bernie and the “msm.” Needless to say, it continues to fall on deaf ears.

I get what you’re saying, but the comparison isn’t really all that spot-on. Denmark is also a State in the European Union.  With less population than Massachusetts. And people have the same ability to move from Denmark to another European country as Massachusetts residents have of leaving their State.

The Press Angered Over USA Hockey in MAGA Hats Completely Miss the Miracle of That Team

USA-Hockey.jpg

The need to divide the nation over a team built on unity explains everything wrong with today’s media.

This weekend was the 40th anniversary of the greatest sports story in this country’s history. (You can @-me to try to debate me on this, but it is futile.) In 1980, a group of upstart, hardscrabble collegians faced the superpower of the hockey world, the USSR, and upended the hockey world and helped to rejuvenate this nation, after a decade of social strife and economic morass. It was a uniquely unifying event, one that brought the nation together.

And now, the press wants to cleave apart that bond over the team wearing hats.

On Friday, President Trump held a rally and invited the members of The Miracle On Ice up on stage with him. The players donned the familiar red MAGA hats, and the press promptly flipped their lids. Suddenly, this team that all of America has embraced for decades was declared to be a triggering and divisive entity. I was going to say — imagine that a team representing this nation of liberty would be declared un-American for choosing to show up with the leader of the nation. You do not have to imagine; the press displayed just that for us.

Do they also talk with stupid accents and root for teams that cheat?

True -- I don't know how much more to it there is, but I know Disney+ took off like a rocket and that was his last pet project.

There is an ongoing battle right now between Disney Channel and Disney+ (from the executive level down through the creative), not sure if that played a role in him leaving early at all but I know senior level management/executives were getting REAL salty last week with Disney+ taking all the new content. My significant other has a show there now which is caught right in the middle of the Disney+ v Disney Channel hubub so I hear a lot of gossip. I'll see what they're saying tonight.

Disney Channel is the cash cow now, but they have to invest in the future.

We got Disney + for free with our Verizon account. I have already informed Hubby we will be paying in the future, and my son is over 30 and we have no grandchildren. ?

That's funny. My wife mentioned we get it with Verizon and since my son is 15, I really didn't pay it any mind. Then she added the app to the TV and damn if there isn't a crapload of great content. I have a lot of friends who are kind of Disney freaks...you know, the ones who can watch Aladdin for the millionth time and still enjoy it...and they are happy as can be with that channel.

WATCH: ABC’s David Wright Admits Network Doesn’t Care About News

FTA:

In a newly released Project Veritas video, footage reveals ABC Correspondent David Wright admitting the network doesn’t care about newsworthy stories.

“I feel terrible about it. I feel that the truth suffers, the voters are poorly informed, and people also have the opportunity to tune into whatever they want to hear,” Wright said. “And so, it’s like there’s no upside, or our bosses don’t see an upside in doing the job we’re supposed to do, which is to speak truth to power and hold people accountable.”

{snip}

Wright continued to admit ABC doesn’t hold Trump accountable nor give him credit for his successful policies. Instead, the network is far more interested in the outrage, investigations, and aspects of backstabbing allegedly happening within the White House.

“We don’t hold [Trump] to account. We also don’t give him credit for what things he does do. Again, I think some of that at least in the place that I work and the places like it is that we’ve, with Trump we’re, interested in three things. We’re interested in the outrage of the day, the investigation, and of the palace of intrigue of who’s backstabbing whom. Beyond that, we don’t really cover the guy,” Wright said.

This admission isn’t coming from a Trump-sympathizer. In the Project Veritas footage Wright can be heard declaring himself a socialist. When asked if he was a democratic socialist, he responded by saying he’s just a socialist.
