Clapper, Brennan, Morrel, Hayden - same group that brought us WMD, Iraq 2, CIA torture, Congressional spying (to hide said torture)... but they're trustworthy on this issue. KNOW YOUR ENEMIES. They're not even bothering to hide. (Note, that date is two days before Crossfire Hurricane was opened, and a full two months into Clapper's and Brennan's (and others) efforts to create probable cause about Russian collusion within the Trump campaign. So, is he lying now? Was he lying then? Or is he incompetent and was kept out of the loop of a sensitive counterintelligence operation (which would be shocking considering his title as DNI)? Switching gears slightly, this really makes one wonder just what dirt the contractors found through the 702 abuse on Sanders.
