The point you missed is that people of all walks of life and economic means pay the $50 without much fuss. And didn't Ralph get all the "Ralph" parking proceeds, even though he was just a tenant?

As usual you are missing the point. 1) The Boston market is already acclimated to getting gouged. 2) Ralph leases the property RWS sits on so he's entitled to parking revenue on that property. 3) But Ralph/Terry/the Bills don't shake down private property owners who park cars by the stadium like Krafty Bob does in Foxboro.

Take the train into town or a bus.. Parking Problem solved, and you don't have to drive out less traffic and no worries about a DWI

There are lots of train tracks that are all connected to the south end of Buffalo, and I would have to believe they would ramp up game day public transportation. use that parking $50 to stimulate some local restaurants bars and/or vendors.

You just beat me to it.

Id do the same thing I did for going to Falcons games (and Thrashers RIP) in Atlanta. Take mass transit directly to the stop that lets out right underneath the stadiums.

Do you take the bus to the Ralph now? As far as I know buses don't run on Sunday. Trains some of the rail lines could work others have had bridges and rails removed so they would have to be rebuilt. How come they have not been rebuilt/used already? Where's the cash to open main st in da Buff? I'll help you with the answer as I have gone to meetings. It's called ISTEA funding. We USED to be level 1 not now. Write your congress man.

If I give you a $100 will you put my tent up for me?

What size?

Well played Hammer.

Thank You. Thank You Very Much.

Charlotte is limited parking, Detroit and Cleveland, too. Indy, I have heard is not all that easy.

The prices to park there are not too high but still you can't tailgate or really go anywhere to congregate.

If $50 gets me the front row parking in the future, than I am 100% down. Of course, I get there by 7am, so that helps.

The future is Now. See you at the TBDHOT. For the $50 parking spot I'll even give you your own trash can to use. Thanks

Still not there before Cletus.

No, the point was, just as in Foxboro, if people want to go to drive to the game they will pay the $50.

Ralph shook down Erie County to make all the money from a venue he doesn't own.

I don't think you understand what "shake down" means.

This is the right call. My "local" stadium is CenturyLink in Seattle. They have multiple lots (spendy at $50) around the stadium, but the easiest way to get there is the train that has a stop right outside the stadium. Way less DWI's, lots of business for the bars, restaurants and shops around the stadium. The issue I find is the lack of the feeling of a big tailgate. I love going to games at the Ralph or Arrowhead where the tailgates are more communal instead of scattered.

Speaking of not knowing the meaning of things...

When you lease a property, you are allowed to earn a profit off it. You can quibble about the deal the county gave Ralph, but you can't deny Ralph's right to keep the proceeds he made from said property. So, no, he didn't "shake down" anyone.

What Ralph didn't do was go to Orchard Park and demand all private property owners who park cars to hand over a fat cut to him, which is exactly what Krafty Bob does in Foxboro.

This person DOES NOT pay to park at Jerry's World. I go early and park at a Humperdinck's and pay them $15.00 to shuttle me over and back from the stadium.

That being said I do loose out on all the atmosphere of the tailgating though.

That would be a great option. Apparently you're not in Cobb county (as I am). The new Braves stadium will be only a few miles away, and it would be nice to have better mass transit out here. I'd love that if I could get to a Bills or Falcons game. The argument will be about tail gaiting of course, but that can be overcome.

With a new stadium of course pricing will go up, I think we can all agree on that and some of the posters have no problem with that. So as everyone knows I'm all about the TBD community, To help you prove your not all hot air and are "All In", I will provide you with a unique opportunity, years ahead of its time. $50 per car per game parking. Don't delay. This is a limited opportunity so don't delay. So sign up today.

The Eagles offered a pre-paid parking pass for $350. Cash parking on game day is $40. Penn State Football is $40 on game day but you can pre-pay for the whole season for $100. Ford Field is $45. FedEx Field is 57.50. All the the Heinz Field lots on the North Side are pre-sold...the caveat there is the same as it would be in Buffalo. If you're willing to walk, you can park for $5 in the Golden Triangle and walk across the bridge. If the Bills put a stadium downtown be assured the stadium lots will be pricey but because there are so many other lots and places to park in a reasonable radius you'll be able to find a cheap spot somewhere within a 20 minute walk which is basically the distance some people walk to RWS now. The other thing you see is something that happens in Philly all the time, local establishments that are slightly too far to walk will offer shuttles to and from their lot to the stadium area. I guess what I'm getting at is if you don't want to spend 40/50 bucks to park you'll find a way not to. Hell, I'm sure the Casino will figure out some sort of promo where they'll comp you the parking back in slot dollars just to get you to come in after the game.
