If we don’t protect society’s most vulnerable what’s that say about us as a nation?

How do we not take care of the most vulnerable?  And if they are neglected, who's usually at fault?

Why are Black and Brown people targeted by police? Why is our system comprised of the have and have nots? We need real social change and reckoning of our countries moral compass.

What economic demographic commits the most crime?

Which of the following groups, ranked from most to least, require the most policing in order to work towards securing an environment free of criminal activity for their children and communities?  Low crime, low-medium crime, medium crime, high-medium crime, high-crime?

13% of the populations is responsible for 50% of the homicides.  Its not racist to target a portion of the population which is responsible for the majority of crime.  Note... its not because they are brown... its because the circumstances of which liberal policies (free abortions, section 8 housing, welfare for unwed mothers, "war on poverty", etc, etc...) have drawn them into the inner city hell holes that they are in.

And why are they living in hell holes? Everybody should have a quality home  just like everyone should have access to health care and clean drinking water. Instead of spending tax solllars to fund racist cops we should be pouring money into these communities to improve residents quality of life.

Didn't the government build the projects where the people that you describe live?   Isn't the government responsible for the upkeep of those buildings?

Do you actually engage in any type of activities in which you try to acquire any knowledge? I only ask because your posts appear to lack even a basic understanding of the issues you address.

You are arguing with an admitted Jets fan on aBills fan website- so I will answer with 95% certainty, he has never researched anything before spouting his mouth.

The difference between brown and black communities and white communities is that funding goes to police (to keep brown/black people down) as opposed to infrastructure and schools. AOC has been talking about this for years if you listen.

So the police are funded to keep POC down?  Yup if we only filled in those potholes everything would be alright. You can go now.

Do you not believe that everyone born into this world should have the same opportunities? Same basic human rights?

That is the main things that progressives are out there fighting for in the capital everyday. Unfortunately the morality of most politicians (especially republicans) leaves a lot to be desired.

This movement is about invoking morality on the general population. Years from now I’m going to be considered on the right side of things just as those who stood tall will MLK in the 60s and the abolishinists (sp) in the 1800s.

The highest funded schools in the country are majority POC school districts, where do you get your info?

She also didn't know what a garbage disposal was, so maybe you should rethink your stance of her intellectual authority.

Police are funded as a city entity, not a community entity. The police determine how their resources are spread throughout the communities within the cities. The black communities within the cities tend to have a disproportionate amount of violent crime. The police, in turn, need to devote a disproportionate amount of their resources to those areas.

See how it works?

If you truly believe your initial comment what are you doing to help those in places like Chad?  And no not the place in Seattle. Chad is a actual country.

Invoking morality?  ?

Its abolitionists.  I was going to say spellcheck is a wonderful thing but you were so far off it’s not worth it.

Shame, that.

I'm going to enjoy watching progressives suffer for their foolishness.

Getcha popcorns ready!

I am not certain the mayors in these solid blue enclaves thought this out. You don't ***** on the police that protect you, you don't cheer on  rioting and looting. Eventually, it ends up at your front door.

MAYBE BESPOKE TERRORISM IS A BAD IDEA: FBI nabbed accused cop car arsonist by tracing her T-shirt to Etsy.

Federal investigators in Philadelphia used twee shopping site Etsy and a host of social media platforms, including Instagram and Vimeo, to nab a massage therapist accused of torching a cop car, according to a federal complaint.

The suspect, 33-year-old Lore-Elisabeth Blumenthal, was identified by FBI agents who examined footage of a May 30 George Floyd protest and noticed her distinct forearm tattoo and a political T-shirt she was wearing when she allegedly set the police cruiser ablaze.

The T-shirt — which had the phrase “Keep the Immigrants Deport the Racists” emblazoned on it — led investigators to an Etsy page that was selling the custom-made shirts.

The investigators noticed a review on the page written by a username they later determined was linked to someone named Lore-Elisabeth in Philadelphia, according to the complaint.

They then searched the name on LinkedIn, which turned up a hit for a woman employed as a massage therapist in the city. On the company’s website, videos show a woman giving massages with a peace-sign forearm tattoo that matched Blumenthal’s.

The website listed a phone number for Blumenthal, which federal authorities used to track down her address in the Germantown section of the city.

If you watch old cop shows, they always ask if the criminal was wearing anything unusual, or had any tattoos or distinguishing marks. Though in some milieus nowadays, I guess you might stand out more by having none.

Progressives are fighting for equal opportunity how? If they are why are the worst schools in our country exclusively in liberal areas? Why is the largest income inequality in liberal areas? Why is the largest racial discord in liberal areas? I find it hilarious you actually think you have any similarity to an abolitionist, since you are not fighting for freedom of an individual but bondage by govt. You are either a special kind of ignorant or are incapable of determining who is causing the issue.

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: How Cultural Revolutions Die — or Not.

In other words, once cultural revolutions turn anarchic and eat their own, they lose support. When quiet sympathizers conclude that they too may be targeted, to survive they turn on their former icons.

We are seeing that now. Liberal sympathetic bystanders are wondering whether downtown arson and looting will go private and reach their suburban homes. Do they really want their marquee universities or the Washington or Jefferson monuments defaced or renamed? What happens when calling 911 gets a constant busy signal?

When a liberal mayor or black police chief or progressive governor or white leftist who diverges from the party line is targeted by the mob, then who really is safe?

Answer? No one. And so the cultural revolution sputters to irrelevance.

What deflated the MeToo movement was the high toll that the accusations took among the Hollywood and cultural elite. Suddenly, progressive celebrities began demanding evidence and insisting on presumed innocence when their careers were destroyed.

What burns out these cultural upheavals is that today’s revolutionary can be denounced as tomorrow’s sell-out. No leader wants to share Robespierre’s rendezvous with his own guillotine.

There is one caveat.

Sometimes cultural revolutions don’t die out — if they are hijacked by a thug or killer.

It’s VDH, so read the whole thing.
