truth on hold
“Well, it’s a calf, and obviously he couldn’t press off it at the end to where he could go out and play,” said Rex Ryan after the game Sunday. “I loved coming here (to coach Buffalo) because I knew he was on the team, but it’s like, golly let’s get him healthy and get him to where he can be Sammy Watkins. That would be awesome.” Watkins will be re-evaluated on Monday. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2015/09/27/watkins-update-2/ Edited September 28, 2015 by JTSP
YoloinOhio
@RapSheet: After tests this morning, #Bills WR Sammy Watkins was diagnosed with a mild calf sprain and will be day-to-day. Not all that bad.
Over 29 years of fanhood
Seems like he gets dinged up a lot. They need to get him on a yoga regimen
HeHateMe
This guy is tissue soft. Once that calf heals, it will be an ankle or hip again.

Gavin in Va Beach
He does seem brittle. Whenever you see him in workout clothes he looks very ripped. He might be a case of one who works out too hard, becoming more susceptible to injury.
CountryCletus
Everyone is injured in the NFL... Everyone gets dinged up. I don't disagree with holding him out yesterday after he got dinged, we had very capable playmakers on the field and the game was well under control. TallskiWallski83
I think the clinic we put on the Dolphins had a lot to do with why he didn't return
Bookie Man
From his body language on the sideline, he didn't appear to concerned by it. Laughing, joking and smiling. Hopefully it was more precautionary, as they seemed pretty in control of the game with Percy, Woods and Clay getting the job done.

4merper4mer
Ankles and hips aren't soft tissue. I think what he is saying is that on Sammy they are indeed soft tissue. I disagree, but that is what he is saying.

Not all that bad. Phew! The first two TDs show you Sammy's value, as he took two defenders away from the area that the throws went...we need him in this offense. Nanker
This guy is tissue soft. Once that calf heals, it will be an ankle or hip again. Definitely! He does seem brittle. Whenever you see him in workout clothes he looks very ripped. He might be a case of one who works out too hard, becoming more susceptible to injury. But, but, but... somebody just said the opposite! Nobody knows how to strain a calf like Boyst does. Okay, Gug - get Boyst to referee the above two posters in a Thunderdome match... one man enters... no one leaves. YoloinOhio
@SalSports: Rex on Sammy Watkins: "I don't know (if he'll be ale to play Sunday.). Certainly a possibility." @JoeBuscaglia: #Bills HC Rex Ryan: That's the case for Watkins and any of the players that didn't finish the game.
