Buffalo Beeeews
Had former Bills RB Bryce Brown in for a workout Friday. This concerns me minimally, seeing how A.) Bryce was 4th string on the depth chart and B.) fumbled like it was a bodily function. Just my opinion. Any concern from other fans if he's signed? Kirby Jackson
A little because I think that he is a better runner than anyone on their roster. In addition, he knows our playbook (although it's a little late in the game for that).
stevestojan
Does anyone who thinks cutting Bryce Brown was a bad move ever watch him play?

boyst
Don't we already have this thread? I'm not worried about Bryce Brown, though I am sure the Patriots asked him about the Bills playbook.
Captain_Quint
The way he was released may have left him bitter, too. Go all the way through camp and preseason and then get cut when most teams have full rosters.
PromoTheRobot
The fumble issue is overblown. He fumbled a lot as a rookie. And sadly everyone knows the KC fumble. But he is a strong runner. Who knows how much useful info he can give the Pats**? Edited September 19, 2015 by PromoTheRobot
Buffalo Beeeews
Don't we already have this thread? I'm not worried about Bryce Brown, though I am sure the Patriots asked him about the Bills playbook. If so, apologies. Hadn't came across a different one yet. I find it sort of hilarious. Fear and desperation by doing this by the evil empire.
John from Riverside
So we are concerned that he is going to get signed right before the game and play no....as a matter of fact I HOPE they do that
Kirby Jackson
I'll put it this way. I would MUCH rather have to defend Scott Chandler than Bryce Brown. Brown is a talented runner. I am not terrified of Bryce Brown or anything but he would be an improvement to that team and add some much needed speed.

Wayne Cubed
Why would a player, who is in for a try out, give up plays? If he was signed then maybe he would, if he can remember them. Him knowing the plays is his bargaining chip.

eball
Aside from the fact Lawyer Milloy was a beloved star player this situation is identical.

Seriously though, have any players ever commented on this practice? Teams bringing in players for a "try out" in order to get information about an opponent? Seems to me like it happens frequently, and is kind of just part of the game.
artmalibu
He is a better back than most around here think. But when a pro-bowl guy is brought in and a late round rookie exceeds expectations a decent guy doesent look too good.

D. L. Hot-Flamethrower
Absolutely no concern whatsoever! I it is not smart to let yourself become distracted and lose the mental game. This is very minor if at all.

It seems to me that as this happens fairly regularly, someone would have data on this.
