C.Biscuit97
Seabiscuit, didn't you just go off (your rocker) in another thread talking about how one sixth round pick is what separates us from the Patriots? Yup and that's the point. Guys like Brady are extremely rare. Like you getting a date. To get mad that a 7th rounder doesn't work out is foolish. BRAWNDO
Actually looks like the browns are trying him out tomorrow. Schefter wrong again. http://www.cleveland..._try_out_1.html Either that or Billy Cundiff is a lock to get the Browns Kicking Job

DanInUticaTampa
Kind of like signing Tavaris Jackson and then cutting him before minicamp? No. This signing a player at a position that already set and doesn't warrent an extra roster spot. The Jackson getting cut was odd, but the signing wasn't

Peter
Another example of how the guys at the Buffalo News never seem to break a story about the Bills or Sabres. They only seem to be good for sarcastic 20-20 (or not so 20-20) hindsight. It will be interesting to find out what the Bills' motivation is for this move. nucci
What would a kicker know about offense or defense? Sarcasm. Every time Pats* pick up a former Bill it's to get info o us. Check other threads.

kasper13
Hopkins groin. Tough injury for a kicker. I have never ever seen a team with more freakin injuries than the Bills. It's not a one year fluke either. It's every year consistently. What the hell is in the water here?

The Buffalo News guys and WGR 550, too have many team and field correspondents, yet none of them ever break a local story concerning signings or injury. It almost seems impossible to be that close to the team and have them constantly hand scoops to the national media.
PromoTheRobot
If they go and cut Hopkins now - that'll be two years in a row where they've wasted draft picks on kickers, only to release them. This team needs every draft pick it can get. They are such a Micky Mouse organization. React first. Find out what actually happened later. 26CornerBlitz
Hope Hopkins recovers fast enough to say goodbye to Carpenter. He's really become erratic. @MaryKayCabot #Bills are signing K Dan Carpenter w/out seeing him kick. #Browns wanted to see him tomrw vs. Cundiff, source told http://cleveland.com . So how is drafting one of the top college kickers in the 7th equate to a Mickey Mouse organization? Aaron Maybin...sure, with you there. But I fail to see how drafting one of colleges top kickers in the 7th makes us a Mickey Mouse organization.
