They have no real backup QB (no chance for controversy), they have not addressed QB in the draft (even 2nd or 3rd round), and Chan calls games like he has Tom Brady under center. The Bills of the 90's were known as the "bickering" Bills. The 49ers have a QB controversy, and appear playoff bound. Nope, these boneheads actually believe Fitz is a quality QB because he puts up good...no....respectable numbers against bad teams. Gailey and Nix have no clue on what they are doing. Spiller is gone the first chance he gets, thats to bad cuz he's going to be a super star in this league. I would to if IChan is still here. Spiller and Lindell need to threaten to hold out if Chan is back next year. That will force Nix's hand. Actually, I think Russ Brandon is going to make the choice easy. No way to sell tickets next year with Chan back. Even if we get Vick, and a top QB in the draft. Nothing will sell tickets unless Chan is gone. No real glaring need elsewhere at #1. Maybe even trade up. Buddy and Chan know what they are doing. You have mentioned Fitz was outstanding yesterday...what part was outstanding? The 3 - 13 on third down? The pick everyone knew was coming late in the fourth? The six seconds he took to call a timeout before half? The deep ball that was 20 yards away from a receiver? I'm just curious...enlighten me with your obvious insight on the QB position.
