Prior to May 2005, the maximum score was 1600. It was raised to 2400 at that time. The average score was around 1000 before the score was raised. 1580 is virtually perfect in both math and verbal. According to Wikipedia, scoring 1540 means you've scored better than 99.5% of test takers. No stats on 1580 but a perfect 1600 is better than 99.93% of test takers.

58.1% for 16,555 out of 1,376,745? If that were the case, the actual percentage would be 98.7975%.

Mizzou doesn't accept the SAT; it's too dumb for their high standards.

I know this has become kind of a running gag, but Brad Smith is very smart. He was working on his graduate degree in economics when he was drafted. He got a business degree from Mizzou and was named to the Big 12 All Academic team.

I pulled a 1600 and got a 44 walking into a surprise wonderlic in a bschool class.... I'm curious the justification on the fact he finished several minutes early, but had a blank. Otherwise I give much credit. Both are simply a matter of processing information that you are confident with very efficiently while under pressure at that level, and of course a little bit of luck. If you have an arm you are in good jumping off point. I do not have any semblance of an arm.

That SAT score is nuts. It really is.

Meh. At Ivy league schools that's relatively common place.

What's really special about Fitz IMO is that he's smart AND wears it humbly so he is able to find common ground and get along with everyone.

As Perry Fewell said when asked how much of a geek Fitz was: "HAHAHAHAHA, That's really funny!"

I like how he gently pokes fun at himself in his pressers. "Coach is learning to respect my speed on the outside" "He's a young receiver. I've got to talk to him. He's not supposed to say that. Beautiful throw, beautiful catch, just like we practiced"
