  1. Not for nothing, but Jake Locker couldn't shine Andrew Luck's shoes. No way he doesn't go #1 overall whenever he declares for the draft. Not to mention the fact that even though Locker stunk it up this year, he still went #8 overall.
  2. I'm sure this guy knows the answer:
  3. If there is no season at all this year, what happens to the players who were drafted this year? Could they possibly go back into the next draft if teams are unable to sign them for an entire year?
  4. Marcus Cannon with the first 4th rounder, and hopefully Sam Acho with the second 4th rounder.
  5. Sounds good....who do you like?? Acho, Wilson, Greg Jones, someone else??
  6. Actually, they took the top rated Safety with the 2nd round pick.......Good Riddance Whitner. I agree that round 3 pick will be LB or OT.
  7. Is it odd that you responded to your own post? Yes. As for AJ Green, I wouldn't be up in arms if he was the pick.....unless Dareus was still on the board.
  8. Funny thing about his mock draft......he completely left AJ Green out of it!
  9. I liked this commercial, but your Stratego reference is even better.....classic!! Hey, she's famous for having a big a** and a sex tape....she showed some good skills and abilities in that. I do find it odd that Kim K. can be famous for accomplishing so little, but man did she look good in that commercial!!
  10. I too hope the Bills spend their FA money on a legit starting TE...I like the two you mentioned, but I would also throw in Owen Daniels TE for the Texans. I think LB should be the other place the Bills concentrate their FA dollars.
  11. I agree. A J Green is going to be the pick if Fairley is off the board. It is obvious that the Bills need defensive help, but I do believe people are forgetting that they have 7 more draft picks in the draft. It would also allow the Bills to trade away the under-achieving Lee Evans for another draft pick(possibly a 3rd?). IMO, AJ Green is better at his position than any of the other defensive top 5 picks are at their respective positions(not including Fairley).
  12. I know we had our disagreements re: Fitz vs. Luck, but I really think this could happen.....especially if Fairley is off the board. I think trading Lee Evans and 4th rounder to the Chicago Bears for their 2nd rounder might be possible as well. The Bills could use their 2nd to draft a RT(Demarcus Love, Marcus Cannon, Derrick Sherrod), and use the Bears 2nd to draft a DL--prefferably LSU's Drake Nevis. Lets build an offense with our first two picks that Andrew Luck can walk right into when we draft him with the first pick in the 2012 draft. Flame Away!!!!!!!
  13. As an offensive-minded coach, I wouldn't be surprised if Chan will want to draft WR A.J. Green with the #3 pick. Wether or not this would happen is up for debate, but it wouldn't totally shock me if Green is the pick.
  14. I mentioned this in a Demarcus Love thread I started a few weeks back.... Arkansas shifts their O-lineman to the wide side of the field depending on where the ball is spotted. If the ball is spotted on the left hashmark, Love would play RT.....on the right hashmark, Love plays LT. This is one of the things I like about Love, the versatility to play both LT and RT. I didn't get to watch the game last night, so I don't know how he played, but I've seen about 5 Arkansas games this year, and this guy is a beast. He would be a great road-grading, run blocking RT for the Bills. I'm hoping the Bills take him with their 2nd round pick.
  15. How??????? By running 60 yard fly patterns and occasionally catching one if the throw is perfect and there isn't a defender within 3 yards of him?? Give it a rest on Evans. He is not, and never has been a #1 caliber receiver. He is an over-paid, barely above-average #2 receiver at best.
  16. If that's the case, so be it. If anyone can give a reason why a win in that game and picking 10th as opposed to losing and picking 3rd is a good thing, I would like to hear it.
  17. Plus, SD and Denver are playing each other, so they both can't win
  18. I believe it is required that all college OL wear braces on both knees, and I think it is a good rule. As for Carimi, he played well but I still prefer Demarcus Love of Arkansas as the future Bills RT. The most impressive player on the field for Wisconsin was JJ Watt....would love to see him in a Bills uniform as well.
  19. Point 1, I agree 100%.....he deserves a Pro Bowl nod. Point 2, I agree that Sevie is having a breakout season, but I can't see him making the Pro Bowl over the likes of Dwayne Bowe, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, and Brandon Marshall.
  20. As you said in your post, the Bills already had their chance to get him, and they blew it. Definitely don't see Baltimore letting him go. Instead of us having to waste our time talking about wether or not to re-sign Whitner, we could have been talking about wether or not the Bills should franchise Ngata. I sure would have preferred having that discussion.
  21. Yeah, they really screwed the pooch with their top 3 pick last year, Ndamakung Suh. And they also picked that huge bust Calvin Johnson with the #2 overall pick a few years ago.....give me a break. Meanwhile, the Bills pick players like Maybin, Lynch, Whitner, with picks 8-11. If that's the difference between picking #2 and #9, I'll take my chances with picking in the top 3 vs. beating a B squad Jets team on Sunday.
  22. Its also a lot easier to play D when you are up by more than 2 scores.
  23. The Bills could have had #2 locked up today, but, wasn't that great how the Bills came back vs. Cincy??? It was such an important win!!! blah..blah...blah.... Actually, I'm pleasantly surprised that the Bills were able to win 4 games and still have a shot at the #2 pick....I hope everything falls in the Bills favor next week(including a loss vs. the Jets).
  24. I'm assuming he meant a lot of talk on the board about Wood at center.
  25. Any receiver who is smart, runs good routes, and catches anything thrown his way will quickly become a favorite of any QB. Throw in the fact that he's 6'5", and you couldn't ask for a better red-zone target.
