  1. You are totally right about Episodes...I should have included it in my previous post. The scene where LeBlanc was on the phone trying to get other cast members of Friends to appear on his show was hilarious.
  2. Any talk of best Showtime series should begin with Homeland....I've watched that series from day one, and it just continues to get better...can't wait for season 3. It goes Homeland, House of Lies, and Nurse Jackie in that order for me. As for Girls, I watched 3 1/2 episodes, never laughed once, and never watched it again--complete garbage(aside from Alison Williams), IMO.
  3. This really made me laugh.
  4. One thing I would like to hear is what his players in Arizona think of him. Of course, they would be likely to give answers that would be biased toward him, but it still might shed more light on his philosophy/vision.
  5. I don't know about you, but I don't keep abreast of potential head coaching candidates until, you know, the time when the team I root for begins looking for a new head coach. In my previous post, I laid out the parameters for what I feel are the most important attributes my ideal coach would have. After going through all the candidates that were rumored to be on the Bills radar, Horton most closely reflects those parameters...without knowing how his interview went, or what he said in the interview, this is as far as we can go in analyzing these candidates.
  6. I like the idea of a coach that believes in being prepared, and being physical. He's also a former player, which I believe goes a long way in earning and keeping the respect of the players. I also do not want a coach that plans on also being a coordinator a-la Gailey. By saying I want the Bills to be bold, I mean I don't want a retread coach...I want new blood, someone with a fresh approach and fresh ideas.
  7. I agree....I'm officially on the Horton bandwagon. I hope he accomplished his goal of knocking the Bills' socks off in his interview. Fortune favors the bold, and its time for the Bills to be bold!!
  8. Very cool, and very true analogy.
  9. Just say no, to Landry Jones.
  10. I like your last paragraph. If they were able to convince Ralph to pay 100 million for a player, maybe they can convince him to spend 10-20 million on a respectable coaching staff/scouting department.
  11. Now that Wanny is gone, maybe the next DC will think its a good idea to blitz a LB every once in a while, and Jones would fit that bill. Honestly, you really can't make draft predictions until a new coaching staff is in place...the original question was who you liked in the upcoming draft, and I feel that a stud LB like Te'o or Jones is a better bet in round one than a QB, especially when a QB prospect like Nassib will be available in round 2.
  12. You have a degenerative brain condition if you think he won't be a top ten pick...the guy has proven over the last two years that he is a playmaker, and I feel he would be more than capable of playing OLB in a 4-3.
  13. Manti Te'o is at the top of my list as well, followed by Jarvis Jones, LB Georgia. The Bills should wait until round 2 to pick up a QB...my pick would be Ryan Nassib from Syracuse.
  14. Give Chan two months, and he wouldn't be able to come up with a play as creative as that one.
  15. I'm a big fan of Te'O, but if the Bills were picking that high, the pick would have to be Jarvis Jones.
  16. That's when you run a fake punt.....not when you are up 30
  17. I figured that was the rule, but its kind of a dumb one if you think about it. What if a DE just beats the tackle badly, blindsides the QB ten yards behind the line, the QB fumbles the ball and an OL picks it up and gets back past the line--no sack for the DE...that sucks, IMO.
  18. On the play where Mario hit Bradford, who fumbled the ball and recovered the fumble and gained a half yard. Mario was credited with a forced fumble, but shouldn't he also get a sack b/c it was against the QB behind the line of scrimmage? I'm pretty sure that should be a sack, right? I mean, earlier in the year Cleveland was awarded a sack when the ball just slipped out of Fitz's hands when nobody touched him.
  19. Yeah. Just look at the play after Jackson got hurt...who was the RB.....Choice, not CJ....unbelievable.
  20. I wouldn't put it past our hillbilly handfishin' head coach that this will happen. Choice: 18 carries CJ: 10 carries If this happens, don't let Gailey cross the border back into the US.
  21. When Gailey was hired, this team had no talent....that's why no one but Gailey wanted the job. Now that the overall talent of the team has improved, maybe it will be a more attractive place in the eyes of prospective coaches.
  22. Lindell is one of the most mild mannered Bills...and I've never seen him react like that. He had every right to be angry...total BS decision by our hayseed head coach....please give this moron a one way ticket out of town.
  23. I don't think he will be discouraged......one of things I noticed and liked about his play today was the swagger he brought to his game. When he made a play he made sure the opposing receiver knew about it, as I noticed him get into it with Shorts, Blackmon, and even Chad Henne at one point. I believe he will use these next 4 games as good on the job training, and make a serious push for the starting CB role opposite Gilmore in training camp next year. By the way, does anyone else think Special K replying to Cereal is a little bit funny?
  24. So....how many pretzels did you throw at the TV today? lol. I was with you about this game, though...thought they would turn it around today, but unfortunately, whenever the Bills really need to step up they never do.
  25. Let's add Brad Smith to that list.
