This is one of the things I like about him, but I see your point about this not being appealing to the casual fan.

I've enjoyed Mayock as an announcer for the Notre Dame games the last 2 years, and am glad to get a chance to hear him call a pro game. His analysis is spot-on, has a lot football knowledge, and doesn't make a lot of mistakes like Simms, Aikman, and a lot of the other morons we are forced to listen to on a week to week basis. I'd love to hear this guy call a few Bills games.

Which game do you see them winning?? They couldn't beat the Dolphins at home, I doubt they will beat the Broncos. The Pats on the road when they will be playing for home field??? That's going to be ugly. The Bills picking 4th is a more likely scenario than the Bills winning another game, IMO.

It was also funny that after Pears signs an extension, he had 2 penalties and gave up a sack within the first 5 minutes of the game....yikes.

I happen to be a graduate of UCF, and don't appreciate you calling it a girly man school. That said, I was shocked when Troup was taken in the 2nd round over some of the other players available at that point(Cody, Gronk, etc.)....definitely didn't see Troup being that high a draft pick.

You're right...and its not just with Spiller. This happened a game or two when FJ was out there.

Tonight's episode was great, with a shocking ending(won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet)....things are really falling apart for young Jimmy....only 2 episodes left this season, can't wait to see what happens next. This show and "Homeland" on Showtime are 2 of my favorite shows on TV right now.

I was thinking the same thing....it was the perfect time to give Spiller a few carries.....F-Jax getting injured in garbage time would have been disasterous. The only reason I could think of was that Spiller has been getting his practice reps at WR the past few weeks, and hasn't been getting any reps at RB, maybe?? It was odd to say the least.

Flecher had 20 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and an Interception...plus a few brutal hits, including one on Fitz. Played with a chip on his shoulder today....always liked him as a Bill, and for a guy who was supposedly washed up 5 years ago when the previous regime decided not to re-sign him...I guess he had a lot left in the tank after all. Just thought the former Bill deserved a shout-out as he was the only Redskin who showed up to play today.

Got my Dareus jersey 2 weeks ago, and wore it proudly today....what a beast this guy is.....340 lbs, and runs like he's 240 lbs. Amazing athlete.

He actually has 3.5 sacks, he had 2.5 today.

I watch it...thought season 1 was a little dull at times, but things are starting to get interesting here in season 2. Really enjoy the dynamic of seeing the famous gangsters of the 30's and 40's(Capone, Benny Siegel, Meyer Lansky, Lucky Luciano) as youngsters paying their dues.

London Fletcher. Funny how the former Bills braintrust thought he was washed up 5 years ago, yet he is still the heart and soul of another team's defense 5 years later.

This horribly boring game has just got interesting.

He is overthrowing open receivers by 10 yards....he's been absolutely pathetic today...he's got a long way to go to be an NFL QB. On a positive note, Solomon Wilcots has been an above-average commentator today.

If the season ended today..............................................it would be an unusually short season!!
