  1. Well, EJ himself said he has seen the most interest from the Eagles, Bills, and Jets....and he also said he expects to be a first round pick.
  2. Unfortunately, I think the Jets will take Manuel at 9 if we pass on him. I'm all for picking up extra picks in a trade down, but the Bills shouldn't count on Manuel still being there if they do.
  3. Did anyone else notice the man on the roof?? Check out this article and pictures: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/boston-marathon-roof-man-mystery-012843805.html
  4. Just to add to your question, I'd also like to hear people's thoughts on Hairston sliding into the LG position as well.
  5. Rex Ryan = "Duff-man" All bluster and bravado, but secretly knows his job sucks.
  6. Lol.....I forgot about Chef's "Thanks, but I don't need any advice" threads. In fact, according to Chef, my original idea is the best way to go, so technically I could respond with a "Thanks, but it turns out I don't need any advice!!!!" Lol.
  7. I'm going to be in San Francisco for a couple of days next week, and I was wondering what is the best way to get to and from SFO airport. I was planning on taking the BART from the airport to the last stop on the downtown SF line, then taking a cab from there to my hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. Is the extra effort worth the money you save from not taking a cab straight from the airport to the hotel? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out!
  8. This show really went off the rails with this weeks show. I hope they go ahead and wrap this whole thing up at the end of season 1....I don't see this coming back for a second season.
  9. Just wondering if swapping draft picks as part of a trade for a player is allowable by the NFL. For example, could the Bills and 49'ers swap 2nd round picks (pick 41 for pick 62) in exchange for Alex Smith? I don't want this to turn into an Alex Smith thread, just wondering if something like this is possible. I can't think of anthing like this done in the past......maybe it just hasn't been done because its not a very good idea. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
  10. You are totally right about Episodes...I should have included it in my previous post. The scene where LeBlanc was on the phone trying to get other cast members of Friends to appear on his show was hilarious.
  11. Any talk of best Showtime series should begin with Homeland....I've watched that series from day one, and it just continues to get better...can't wait for season 3. It goes Homeland, House of Lies, and Nurse Jackie in that order for me. As for Girls, I watched 3 1/2 episodes, never laughed once, and never watched it again--complete garbage(aside from Alison Williams), IMO.
  12. This really made me laugh.
  13. One thing I would like to hear is what his players in Arizona think of him. Of course, they would be likely to give answers that would be biased toward him, but it still might shed more light on his philosophy/vision.
  14. I don't know about you, but I don't keep abreast of potential head coaching candidates until, you know, the time when the team I root for begins looking for a new head coach. In my previous post, I laid out the parameters for what I feel are the most important attributes my ideal coach would have. After going through all the candidates that were rumored to be on the Bills radar, Horton most closely reflects those parameters...without knowing how his interview went, or what he said in the interview, this is as far as we can go in analyzing these candidates.
  15. I like the idea of a coach that believes in being prepared, and being physical. He's also a former player, which I believe goes a long way in earning and keeping the respect of the players. I also do not want a coach that plans on also being a coordinator a-la Gailey. By saying I want the Bills to be bold, I mean I don't want a retread coach...I want new blood, someone with a fresh approach and fresh ideas.
  16. I agree....I'm officially on the Horton bandwagon. I hope he accomplished his goal of knocking the Bills' socks off in his interview. Fortune favors the bold, and its time for the Bills to be bold!!
  17. Very cool, and very true analogy.
  18. Just say no, to Landry Jones.
  19. I like your last paragraph. If they were able to convince Ralph to pay 100 million for a player, maybe they can convince him to spend 10-20 million on a respectable coaching staff/scouting department.
  20. Now that Wanny is gone, maybe the next DC will think its a good idea to blitz a LB every once in a while, and Jones would fit that bill. Honestly, you really can't make draft predictions until a new coaching staff is in place...the original question was who you liked in the upcoming draft, and I feel that a stud LB like Te'o or Jones is a better bet in round one than a QB, especially when a QB prospect like Nassib will be available in round 2.
  21. You have a degenerative brain condition if you think he won't be a top ten pick...the guy has proven over the last two years that he is a playmaker, and I feel he would be more than capable of playing OLB in a 4-3.
  22. Manti Te'o is at the top of my list as well, followed by Jarvis Jones, LB Georgia. The Bills should wait until round 2 to pick up a QB...my pick would be Ryan Nassib from Syracuse.
  23. Give Chan two months, and he wouldn't be able to come up with a play as creative as that one.
  24. I'm a big fan of Te'O, but if the Bills were picking that high, the pick would have to be Jarvis Jones.
  25. That's when you run a fake punt.....not when you are up 30
