  1. I too felt that the Bills should have been more conservative at that point, but I respect Gailey descision to take a shot there. In actuality, if Fitz doesn't underthrow the ball, its a walk-in TD for Stevie and everyone would be praising Gailey for the gutsy call. Fitz threw some amazingly accurate passes throughout the game, but the 2 throws on the INT's were absolutely horrendous--interestingly enough, they were both on the exact same route and were both underthrown. Love how Fitz has been playing this year, but I'm sure if you asked him, he would take full responsibility for the loss.
  2. Actually, it was Pears on Babin most of the time, and Pears was completely neutralizing him....time to give credit to the offensive line coach for coaching these guys up and turning them into an above-average unit.
  3. Saw this on Thursday night....they spend the first 20 minutes of the show on Bills/Pats. Its an awesome recap of the game...definitely worth watching.
  4. The Bills/Pats highlights on Inside the NFL. They started off the highlights by showing KW firing up the team in pregame with this quote about Brady. Loved hearing that....nice job Kyle!!
  5. I thought it looked like a broken collarbone from the way he landed....glad to hear the X-rays were negative.
  6. Oh, I'm positive on the Bills, but I'm also positive that was a ridiculous call!! Go Bills!!
  7. I didn't know defenders weren't allowed to tackle a player in the field of play....who knew. Horrible call, but in the end it didn't hurt the Bills, thanks to Bryan Scott's awesome INT. That can't really be a penalty right.....when are they going to start playing two hand touch??
  8. He's a winner......definitely one of the guys whose winning attitude has been sorely lacking in this team for years. This game has brought an end to the culture of losing that has plagued the Bills for years. These guys are WINNERS, baby!!!!
  9. Nice! Still don't understand why people stick up for this guy. Nice guy, but he couldn't carry Andre Reed or Eric Moulds' jock strap. Average talent on a few below average offenses--definitely not a "Chan guy"....if he catches more than 40 balls this year, I'll be shocked.
  10. I think we can add "Fitzcomeback" to the list!!
  11. Its funny, because they officiated the Jags/Bills preseason game, and that was one of the most horribly officiated games I had ever seen.
  12. Put this guy down as one of the many pleasant surprises on the Bills these first 2 games. Haven't been able to focus on him often, but when I do, he seems to be a strong pass blocker, and not bad in the run as well. Just thought that this guy deserves a shout-out for closing down the turnstile the Bills have had at RT for the past few years.
  13. +1 You are right, he is wrong, and drunk or not, he will never admit it.
  14. The O-line as a whole today was shockingly solid today. I, along with many people here were sure that the O-line was going to be the major reason this team would struggle, but I was pleasantly surprised. Of course its only one game, we will see if these guys can keep up the solid play....I hope they can.
  15. As the Lee Evans apologists would say: "He did a great job of drawing the coverage away from Boldin" The best part of today's game for me was the fact that Evans was absolutely not missed in this offense. I wish they would have gotten more than a 4th rounder for him, but I'm glad the Bills moved on from the one trick pony.
  16. Its 2 for Offense, 2 for Defense, and 2 for Special Teams---its been this way since the NFL started putting the "C's" on the jerseys a few years back.
  17. C'mon man.....don't you think its also the priority of these players to want to win now. These guys are 30+, and have already made their money....these guys are only still playing because they want a chance to win a Super Bowl, and they will go to a team that gives them that chance. Honestly, if you were in their situation, what would you do??
  18. +1 I think you hit the nail on the head with this post.
  19. Exactly... why do people find this so hard to understand. Most of these veterans have already made their money at this point, and are looking to finish their careers with a team with a chance to win the Super Bowl this year.
  20. From what I have seen, he has the skills to become a solid RT....if he continues to progress, I'm sure he will be given every opportunity to compete for the starting RT job at camp next year.
  21. I was going to say thomas Jones as well. How about Leonard Davis...he was drafted in the top 5 as a Tackle by Arizona, then went on to be an All-Pro Guard for the Cowboys.
  22. I actually mentioned her earlier in this thread, and the pic you showed was actually my avatar for a while. Here's another good pic of Catrinel: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VcQ2n85bSxw/Tbq9flVPchI/AAAAAAAABP0/zG9CiMHuIlI/s1600/0025.jpg
  23. I'm definitely hoping for Andrew Luck, but I am also hoping for a LT and a RT capable of keeping him from being injured by week 2. To the people who are "hoping" for 6-10...please explain yourselves With a guy like Andrew Luck in the draft next year, you should be either hoping your team is good enough to get far into the playoffs, or bad enough to draft Luck....its obvious the Bills have a better chance of the latter.
  24. +1 The inability of some people on this board to detect sarcasm is staggering to me.
  25. Funny, but I like their 2nd attempt better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM
