  1. Plus, SD and Denver are playing each other, so they both can't win
  2. I believe it is required that all college OL wear braces on both knees, and I think it is a good rule. As for Carimi, he played well but I still prefer Demarcus Love of Arkansas as the future Bills RT. The most impressive player on the field for Wisconsin was JJ Watt....would love to see him in a Bills uniform as well.
  3. Point 1, I agree 100%.....he deserves a Pro Bowl nod. Point 2, I agree that Sevie is having a breakout season, but I can't see him making the Pro Bowl over the likes of Dwayne Bowe, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, and Brandon Marshall.
  4. As you said in your post, the Bills already had their chance to get him, and they blew it. Definitely don't see Baltimore letting him go. Instead of us having to waste our time talking about wether or not to re-sign Whitner, we could have been talking about wether or not the Bills should franchise Ngata. I sure would have preferred having that discussion.
  5. Yeah, they really screwed the pooch with their top 3 pick last year, Ndamakung Suh. And they also picked that huge bust Calvin Johnson with the #2 overall pick a few years ago.....give me a break. Meanwhile, the Bills pick players like Maybin, Lynch, Whitner, with picks 8-11. If that's the difference between picking #2 and #9, I'll take my chances with picking in the top 3 vs. beating a B squad Jets team on Sunday.
  6. Its also a lot easier to play D when you are up by more than 2 scores.
  7. The Bills could have had #2 locked up today, but, wasn't that great how the Bills came back vs. Cincy??? It was such an important win!!! blah..blah...blah.... Actually, I'm pleasantly surprised that the Bills were able to win 4 games and still have a shot at the #2 pick....I hope everything falls in the Bills favor next week(including a loss vs. the Jets).
  8. I'm assuming he meant a lot of talk on the board about Wood at center.
  9. Any receiver who is smart, runs good routes, and catches anything thrown his way will quickly become a favorite of any QB. Throw in the fact that he's 6'5", and you couldn't ask for a better red-zone target.
  10. He definitely has all the physical tools to be a good CB, he just needs to up his "Football IQ" to take the next step. The majority of his mistakes come from mental errors, IMO.
  11. Definitely agree. The Bills really did well running up the middle today, and Wood looked very good manning the Center position. If Wood keeps it up(pun intended) for the remaining three games, I'll bet we will see a Levitre-Wood-Urbik interior line, with Hangartner backing up all three positions.
  12. This way, Evans can go from being "figuratively" invisible on the field to "literally" invisible on the field.
  13. http://www.pokerlistings.com/online-poker-bill-could-be-attached-to-obama-tax-cut-plan-29659 The passing of this bill would force sites such as Pokerstars and Full Tilt from operating in the U.S. for 15 months before they can obtain a license. The online poker community has been trying to get poker legalized and regulated in the U.S. for many years now, but I don't think this is what they had in mind.
  14. Well....I think Wood's natural position is at center. This is a good point in the season, even though it is out of necessity, to give Wood a try at center. If he excells there over the next 4 games, I think it would be easy for the coaching staff to make the move permanent,IMO. Who said anything about swapping Hang and Wood? It would be more likely that Urbik would take over at RG next year(if healthy) if Wood moves to center. I could live with a Levitre-Wood-Urbik inerior line with Hangartner backing up all 3 positions.
  15. Hopefully, this will be a permanent move to center for Wood.
  16. The photo has been mysteriously changed.....let the conspiracy theories begin.
  17. Let's not forget a top-line RT....I guess that's a lot of needs, but at least it seems that the team is headed in the right direction for a change.
  18. People around here always equate Lee Evans to #1 receivers such as Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson, which IS absurd. You support my point that Evans is not those guys, but I suppose we differ on the point that IMO Evans is a one trick pony that is barely a good #2 receiver.....he is a lesser version of Peerless Price in his prime.
  19. Yes....Andre Johnson is actually a legitimate #1 receiver.
  20. Its a shame Roscoe P. Coltrane broke his wrist this year...Jackie Chan was the first coach to get him involved in the offense.
  21. Saw that as well, funny stuff. He got a lot of publicity for his big game vs. Cincy, and even more for his drop on Sunday, and it seems he's gained even more fans for his postgame press conference. A lot of my friends love Stevie Johnson, and none of them are Bills fans...its crazy how he's becoming a household name around the country. Anything to bring attention to the Bills is a good thing, IMO.
  22. Just bringing this topic back for more opinions from our draft experts. The Bills O-line was solid this week, but I still think this guy would be a big upgrade to the line, as he is a teriffic run blocker.
  23. Next time, cut the Vicodin in half before posting. Although, I think I may be calling Fitz "Fitzgibbons" for a while due to this post.
  24. Thank you. One of the key traits of a true #1 receiver is his ability to consistently beat double teams. Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson are double-teamed, yet they still are able to put up big numbers. How often do you think Eric Moulds was double-teamed in his career, yet he found ways to get open. Evans is a #2 at best.
