Putting down a dog (or other pet)
ddaryl replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in Off the Wall Archives
some need closure.. its a hard thing to do. I myself have had multipe dogs put down... For me I owe it to my furry friends to be there otherwise I could not live with myself. As hard as this is I just need to be there... Might be nice ot have family there for the cry thats bound ot come afterwards. heck I'm tearing up right now -
ok I see your point... what erked me regarding Pats fans and Hernandez was when the evidence was mouting prety high they had fans still wearing his jersey to the games... but I dont hate the pats anymore or any less
-
I never said the patriots knew. I just said it was a differnet situation IMO
-
I stil think it is... but If OJ was with the Bills when this went down I am sure there would be defenders the same, and we would be embarassed about it I assume. Heck even I didn't believe it to be true when it was going down initially as for the Rae Curuth.. Never even read it so I couldn't ignore it.. I stopped short I guess..

If the Bills want to move up, what’s the best way?
ddaryl replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also don't think thye planned on drafting 21st or making the playoffs. Makes trading up a little more difficult/expensive... LOL.. I was going to go with a Jefferson's reference myself. Well done sir Fish don't fry in the kitchen; Beans don't burn on the grill. Took a whole lotta tryin' just to get up that hill. Now we're up in the big leagues Gettin' our turn at bat. As long as we live, it's you and me baby There ain't nothin wrong with that. Read more: Tv Theme - The Jeffersons Lyrics | MetroLyrics -
or maybe they just failed to notice sed lock symbol and just needed someone to kindly point that out to them. Why the name calling ?

a much different situation as OJ was long gone from the BIlls and past his football career. he was a hollywood star at that point. Pats had him on the roster and many Pats fans as well as the franchise defended him much much much different scenarios IMO but to me they are both just sad stories However seeing a bunch of Bills fans get together to take a picture with OJ recently was disturbing

AJ McCarron wouldn't be much different than breaking in a new rookie. You still better have a Alex Smith for a year or so to see what you have in McCarron before throwing him the keys

Do you let your dog lick plates before the dishwasher?
ddaryl replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Our dogs get occasional plates and scraps.. My 2 retreivers lived to be 12 and 13 years old... About average for a retreiver... As a human do you not drink beer, dabble in a little something something or eat food that is bad for you... Why should a dogs life be a punishment if most of us endulge ourselves just the same. Quality of life is part of the equation as is quantity all that being said they are trained not to take food that is not offered to them.. -

Completion % And How It Translates To The Pros
ddaryl replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah the 60% completion % college stat is good starting spot... From there you need to determine the system / Coach style, field reads, arm strength, measurables (hand size) surrounding talent, and level of competition etc... but that 60% is significant -

Completion % And How It Translates To The Pros
ddaryl replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How many sub 60% completion % QB's coming out of college went on to have impressive carrers Yes system can skew that data.. Bu tif a QB can't throw 60% avergane in college its pretty damn close ot a forget about it yes there wil be an anomaly or 2 but bottom line its a good starting point for the arm chair QB to go by -
To early for me to tell Jackson could be a WIlson type of QB, but his accuracy issues are a concern... Rudolph has some questions regarding his ability to scan the full field and a few arm strength concerns I honestly haven't read enough to think either of them should be drafted in the 1st rd, Both will require a year or 2 of grooming
-
he is definitely an option and he is a very accurate QB when healthy. If we go SB then we need 2 top OL IMO.. He needs a clean pocket and time
-
If they can not work out a contract he most certainly wil be tagged.. But if the opportunity is there I would definitely be kicking the tires on that
-
good catch I totally missed the chronological missed year as it didn't show up in the stats I was researching
-
Yeah he meant 2016 not 2017
-
technically that was 2017 and last year.. But yeah if you go back to 2016 he had a decent season. In seven seasons he has 3 seasons of 10 games or less.. So that is the concern...
-
No he played 2 games for the Vikings before hurting his knee and being placed on IR
-
the knock is he has a glass jaw... He is an average QB when healthy though. And an upgrade over TT regarding passing. Gets sacked about 36 times in a full season of work.. Pure pocket passer is not going to extend plays like TT has

Would 6 rings for NE diminish future SB winners?
ddaryl replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Patriots are just this era's Dynasty team. Doesn't diminish anything.. It just ensures this era's Patriots franchise will reamin in the conversation for best all time for quite awhile My dislike for the patriots is nothing more than them being division rivals and me being jealous they are so good for so long..... yes there are some integrity questions but that has a lot to do with me wanting to see their amazing run officially tainted so I can sleep better at nights -

MMQB - Scouting the Patriots Using Belichick's Book
ddaryl replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This part jumped out at me... Makes sense for a right handed QB to open his shoulders some and back pedal when the 1st read is on the left side. Never thought about it but very interesting
