Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)
ddaryl replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
maybe, it wasn't clarified by anything I have been reading, here or on the web. I may have missed a post that mentioned it Personally if we want the guy just sign him, before someone else does -
He needs a solid 1T, or at least someone capable next to him to absorb OL otherwise he becomes less effective, which we have all witnessed. We are stuck with him for the near future but he hasn't been a difference make anywhere near the consistency that we are lacking in pass rush and the ability to stop playoff caliber run teams He costs to much to cut or trade, and we know we need to improve along the DL because it was completely obvious we struggled here. I don't see us being able to move on till 2027 if we don't see improvement with new bodies next to him.

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)
ddaryl replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
what I would like to see is the completion %s for the best player and season (any player) .. Remembering an incomplete pass is basically a lost down. I prefer keeping the chains moving more than I crave the long ball myself. It is necessary to throw it long on occasion, but we do not need to live or die by the long ball, where die is probably 2/3 more probable -
Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?

Watch the Bills defense in that game. They over pursued and fell prey to many cut backs. In fact the Giants out rushed the Bills. -

he has not shown the deep accuracy since day 1, he has shown massive arm strength. Not sure how much more he can work on it, I think he is what he is and you play to his strengths. Yes you will let the occasional long ball fly to keep defenses on their heels some, but with Brady as our OC and Josh I do not think that will ever be a massive part of the Bills O game plan Also what is the long ball % of the best long ball throwers in the NFL past and present? -

Elijah Moore maybe, but the Bills were clearly a much better team Offensively minus Gabe " barely caught 50% of targets" Davis I for one would be livid if we signed a Gabe Davis type of player, I was extremely happy we let him go. Also Josh's best work is done in the mid ranges. The long ball is not his strong suit when it comes to accuracy. Gabe had a limited route tree to work with. -
are you being serious or just being a troll?

The transition tag for 2026 is projected to be under $12 million. If Cook has another solid season and ends it healthy you transition tag him and reap the rewards if other teams line up to sign him, or we keep him for less than the $15 million he is asking for. Makes little sense to let him just walk for a 3rd rd compensation pick. IMO. Unless we are hurting for cap space to absorb the tag cost. https://overthecap.com/franchise-transition-and-rfa-tenders

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
ddaryl replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was projected to be a 1st rd pick at the end of 2023 - 2024 season, definitely a solid gamble especially in the 4th round -
Yes Honestly I would not watch the Bills play if I felt the opposite.
-
Because we all know how much trouble the Bills had putting up 30 points a game.
-
I agree and I do not understand AT ALL those that whine about the WR position.

Buffalo Bills Consensus Draft Grades

I need a season to evaluate and form any sort of educated opinion as always I like the potential oh Hairston, gonna be fun to see him break on the ball. The DL is a wait and see... how are they going to make an impact, or is it more of the same. -
Anything to make a $

Bills trade Cordy Glenn to Bengals

I'm not sold, the kid never threw for greater than 56% in college. -
I use to enjoy the draft but these days I really just read about it in the morning. I enjoyed all day Saturday and Sunday drafts. The NFL trying to monetize every facet of the the business has the opposite affect on me. I am watching less, following less and spending less.

Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
ddaryl replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
experienced depth...the question is will he be tried at S some at camp?.... I don't think it affects our draft at all. -
What is your favorite serendipitous draft story?
ddaryl replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm still flabbergasted by that decision.
