  1. 14,895 posts ------>>>>>>>> 108 posts Bill has been here a long long time . He is as frustrated like the most of us, with the newbie know it all gang who came over from the other now defunct message boards.
  2. OK if you think so.. I think Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would like to get in on this debate I can only assume this is an attempt at some sort of humor or sarcasm but I missed
  3. Beane has made referecne to June 1st cuts and WR's Why rush out ot sign the scrap heap WR's in FA now when there most liekley will be better WR's available later after the draft and pre camp cuts
  4. No charges filed.. thats all anyone has to know. if he was not charged or arrested there is not much to worry about. if it happens a 2nd time or a 3rd then you cut bait like we did with Lynch and others over the years. This whole incindent could just been a situation which normally would never get out into public outside the fact that its a football player and some people had a cel phone camera. It could just be a young mans learning moment, or it could be the start of some disturbing off field behavior. We wil have to wait and see, but under the present known circumstnaces I would not of cut Zay or disciplined him either... If it was something to be disciplined about he would of been arrested IMO
  5. Wrong thread this thread is talking about Baker Mayfield not Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen
  6. Funny thing is when Kelly Marino were drafted nobody was thinking 2 future HOF QB's. You don't know jack about who is going to become what in this draft like the rest of us.... But this franchise needs to get a top QB and it doesn't matter whether you agree or not, this is a QB league and you need to go get one and keep trying till you do and I beg to differ on the Cam Newton comparison. It what world is Cam Newton some world beater HOF QB. He's decent and average.
  7. Mayfield for the win IMO
  8. I have no concerns with Jay as of now. His freshman NFL year was forgettable but many WR's take a year or 3 to find there A game in the NFL. If after 2 years he can not show a big swing upwards in improvement then and only then would I want to have a discussion about Jay and his NFL career. In other words WAY WAY WAY WAY to early to be having 10 page discussions about his lack of an NFL career.
  9. 12th pick in round 3 yes.
  10. Oh ye of little faith. That bus makes regular stops.
  11. If he was to do that then I would let him start for the bills for eternity. I'll shake the mans hand after he flushes and washes of course
  12. Only to be replaced with 3 more what ifs
  13. a rookie QB because it means we drafted well and got a QB
  14. Now that's kinda funny coming from a fan
  15. And if he fails to address the QB position with a franchise arm and McCarron proves ot be what he is a back up thne he wil be fired just the same. The GM has NO CHOICE but to identify a franchise worthy arm(s) and make the bold moves ot get them in here. If he sits back at #12 or even #22 and waits for a QB to fall to him and that fails he wil be fired as well. If he trades up and mortagages the future and drafts a QB and that fails he will be fired. The moral of the story indetify the franchise QB trust your scouts/coaches and yourself and make the move... because if you fail to get a franchise QB you will be fired, and sitting back and waiting is playing russian roulette with your career if you have indetiifed a player worth takin you got ot make the move
  16. Hopefully he figured his crap out and has gotten it together. I respect someone who can do a 180 degree turn around and come out on top
  17. Beane is simply cleaning up the cap mess and overall roster mess we had from the last regime. This is the reality of hiring a new GM and HC, and its the reason why no matter what happens we have to stick with the McBeaner tandem for 5 years SO if Beane wants ot trade and deal then I am 1000000% behind him.... Either he'll be a great GM bordering on pure genius or we fire him in 4 years and start from scratch just the same we were not picking a QB last year knowing full well a new GM was coming and it would be him who gets to build the roster. Thats the reality and there was never a scenario where the old GM was going to pick the the QB for the new GM
  18. How many key players did they lose between those years.. Not that I am a huge Rosen fan, but people use the talent surrounding argument to justify Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, and then conveniently forget it when pulling for McCarron
  19. McCarron for one thing was on an extremely stacked Alabama team that probably could of beat the Bills back then. Which is why he wasn't drafted early. So the win loss record comparison isn't really a comparison at all
  20. LMFAO Heck when I was younger we'd get **** faced drunk while doing all kinds of crazy substances. Fights broke out on a rare occasion while inebriated only to be resolved the following days... Many times lessons were learned and never repeated Hardly mental health issue, just way too much of a good thing turning things sour The funnier things is I'm still extremely close with these same friends 30+ years later. We had the best of times we had the worst of times but we grew closer in the processes
  21. it takes dynamite to get me up too much of everything is just enough
  22. Hope he's ok too and hopefully he learns a lesson from it and makes the life changes needed to keep that fro happening ever again.
  23. its a sweet deal but the Giants will try to milk more hence the reason the Giants released details of the offer. Now teams know what they have to beat. If nobody outbids us were in
