I’m not anxious for Beane to make anymore moves!
ddaryl replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane is simply cleaning up the cap mess and overall roster mess we had from the last regime. This is the reality of hiring a new GM and HC, and its the reason why no matter what happens we have to stick with the McBeaner tandem for 5 years SO if Beane wants ot trade and deal then I am 1000000% behind him.... Either he'll be a great GM bordering on pure genius or we fire him in 4 years and start from scratch just the same we were not picking a QB last year knowing full well a new GM was coming and it would be him who gets to build the roster. Thats the reality and there was never a scenario where the old GM was going to pick the the QB for the new GM -
How many key players did they lose between those years.. Not that I am a huge Rosen fan, but people use the talent surrounding argument to justify Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, and then conveniently forget it when pulling for McCarron
-
McCarron for one thing was on an extremely stacked Alabama team that probably could of beat the Bills back then. Which is why he wasn't drafted early. So the win loss record comparison isn't really a comparison at all

Mental Health Issues in the NFL - Zay Jones
ddaryl replied to Jobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LMFAO Heck when I was younger we'd get **** faced drunk while doing all kinds of crazy substances. Fights broke out on a rare occasion while inebriated only to be resolved the following days... Many times lessons were learned and never repeated Hardly mental health issue, just way too much of a good thing turning things sour The funnier things is I'm still extremely close with these same friends 30+ years later. We had the best of times we had the worst of times but we grew closer in the processes -
it takes dynamite to get me up too much of everything is just enough

Only post if you want to wish zay the best. Get well.

Rumor: Trade up discussion with Giants
ddaryl replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
its a sweet deal but the Giants will try to milk more hence the reason the Giants released details of the offer. Now teams know what they have to beat. If nobody outbids us were in -

ddaryl replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK.. at least he was drafted at 21 not top 5.. .. However they had also had a HOF QB in Farve hollding the fort I'm sure the jets and Browns have a HOF QB to sit behind for 2 years -

If a QB needs 2 years to be ready they have no business being drafted i the 1st rd IMO -
The Bills aren't showing they're desperate for a QB
ddaryl replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane obvioulsy didnt feel it was worth out bidding the Jets from what he has seen and he did not. SO I really think you and the rest need to start demanding beane be fired, because that is the only recourse you now have. You can't change what is done. Beane in many opinions screwed up by not caving to the demands of Indy and letting the Jets jump them.. I will roll with the punches. The rest of you start the fire beane now threads.. I look forward to them as always -
Why not give McCarron an honest chance?
ddaryl replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is what it is and I will never devolve into that person who wallows in negativity when it comes to any forms of entertainment FACT IS... These QB's pretty much grade out the same with very very little seperating the top 10. We all have our favorites and whom we would want at the top but the fact is they all have warts and short comings... DO you want to overpay for a QB that is rated very similarly to the rest or do you want ot make that desperate move upward, pay a kigs ransom, for a QB you don't think is much better than the rest but just want to show the fans how desperate you are so they will stop whining. Beane There is still a chance the Bills wil move up.. they will have to pay very similiar amount it would have taken to out bid the Jets for 3 IMO, and I don't think that is worth 3 21st rd picks a 2nd and change, but if Beane does then he'll make the move -

ddaryl replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not go that far at all. We don't get to move up as easily, but were' not DOA by a long shot. -

I agree and I beleive he said so himself -

McCarron will be given a shot ot compete and win.. He will not be handed the keys without a competition IMO -
The Bills aren't showing they're desperate for a QB
ddaryl replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK, then start calling for Beane's head to be fried because he clearly said he won't get into bidding wars. Personally its disappointing but only a fool chases rainbows and overpays for a player they aren't 100% confident in... QB's in this draft are solid but not worthy of overpaying when the 2nd tier options are not graded that much less. SO que the fire Bean and McD posts, start up the inept franchise posts and lets wallow in misery every single day just like old times The jets mortgage a lot to move up....if that QB turns out to be avg they have a whole draft of missed picks to not surrond this QB with -

SO get into a bidding war ? for a player that you set value and has been exceeded. -

Eric Dickerson was the meat of that trade but lots of draft picks as well -
How does this year's QB Draft class stack up to the past?
ddaryl replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this year has lots of better than average entrants. The top 3 are close and each has a different wart to scrutinize. The 2nd teir prospects in this draft seem to be much better than the 2nd teir offerings of other draft classes IMO. Guys like Allen Rudolph Jackson may have been considered best overall in some of weaker draft classes like 2013. then you look at what people consider 3rd teir QB's in this draft and you start to see that this particular class just has an overall better pedigree compared to many other years -
First Pick @ 12 - Not a QB? How 'bout Vita?

I may have left the disgruntled line in there from another quoted post that I deleted in the reply. I was working on a Kingrex reply as well and just gave up as I deemed unworth my time. Think I may have confused and combined some stuff in this one and then lost track and didn't bother ot proof read However YES there will be a competition how in the world could there not be, why would there not be?

ddaryl replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It simply has ot be a bold move up for a QB.... 20+ years of sub par QB play for this franchise.. Most of us old timers can not stomach the thought of passing up a top QB for anything.. The Bills are a lot like a library book when it comes to franchise QB's... We are overdue (Anybody use libraries anymore?)
