No way I offer more than 12 and 22 for 5 to start. I might expect 12, 22, and 53 to be the price, but opening bid has to be lower than you expect to pay.
First of all, I clearly said for me he was plan B and that I prefered the top four, so it doesn't really equate to "pick him over all the rest." Secondly, I think the claim that he is Tyrod 2.0 is lazy and wrong, but have fun with that.
Saying you are adapatable to the strengths and weakness of whichever qb you end up with does not necessarily imply they don't have a strong preference for 1 or 2.
We're picking at 22, so it's already inaccurate. Maybe Edmunds falls to 12. No way Smith makes it (my preferred lb). Still think we end up trading up for qb.
Of course, as Dostoevsky pointed out, sometimes it is the eccentric individual who speaks truth to a mad society, something along the lines of Yeats' Crazy Jane poems.
You're right, but it's possible the Giants decide to take a qb at 2 and the Broncos take a qb at 5. I don't think it's likely, but it's also not implausible. Lots of draft capital, but maybe no trade partner.
