Well, the Sabres' doctor is some kind of expert on that procedure and he advised against it. Either the Pegulas were locked in on following his advice or the relationship with Eichel had become so toxic that the surgery was just cover for issues that were not going to get fixed even by a successful operation. If they had been willing to risk the surgery, I think they could have gotten a better return, but water under the bridge . . .

I remember when the football was an actual pig and the forward pass was illegal.

The notion that it is going to take exceptional play from Allen for the Bills to win is partly almost tautological since he is the best player on the team at the most important position, as well as a dual threat. But the presupposition of your slant on all this is based on an implicit assumption. Overall, I think you are consistently underrating the talent level of the Bills. They are better than NE and better than Tenn. KC is a toss up. A few bad plays over the course of the season skews their record below their ability. Buffalo lost every one score game and some of them clearly could have gone and probably should have gone the other way. As for the article, it's pretty old hat to surmise a more traditional offense that is run heavy has an advantage in playoff games affected by the elements. Normally, the better qbs win playoff games. No one is taking Mac Jones or Tannehill over Allen. Allen doesn't care about the stats. He will do what it takes to win and he has the ability to carry a team.

One of the most obnoxious trolls on this board. Ignore him, he's just here to spew his negative juju. I'll be quite honest. You're a Titans' troll whose act is not convincing anyone.

How abysmal is that fella's life that trolling fans on a message board is somehow a gratifying endeavor? -
Upthread, some folks are saying if you wait till a player clears waivers, you can sign them and they are eligible for playoffs. No idea if true or not.

I do, too, though some folks here will be conflicted.

Fella also claims he's not envious at all of our qb. He's just pleased as punch with his rag-ahhmed game manager. Ah, well, ghosts probably lose a good bit of intellect in the transition into the afterlife and this poor soul probably didn't have much to begin with.

The thread title is not in the subjunctive (not in the conditional if X then Y). It's a simple declarative sentence Beasley flipping out at McDermott. Here follows the OP. "I got back late last night so didn't see game thread or re-watch the game so not sure if it was discussed...... But after a 3rd down pass to Beasley went incomplete he ran off the field screaming at McDermott and throwing his hand at him in frustration. McDermott was walking briskly in his direction like he wanted to kick his ass....... but at the last second appeared to be pretending to not notice him. Someone on staff spun Beasley by the shoulder and escorted him to the bench area. Beasley was pacing around audibly yelling "I'm done, I'm done". Did you guys see this on the broadcast? Was it discussed in the postgame? The entire narrative is one of eyewitness report. The ask for corroboration is quickly followed by an editorial. I guess that's probably just 2021 Beasley being 2021(in 2022) Beasley but it was noteworthy. I'd say it's more than neutral reporting. The slant has had predictable divisiveness along predictable lines.
