You do know that the Bills were picked before the year as one of the teams with a good chance to make the SB because of past performance, so clearly this is not based solely on demolishing NE, or the current five game winning streak, or Josh Allen being a special qb, or the run game showing up with consistency, or the absurd amount of time and clean pockets Josh had to throw from against a solid Pats*D or the stats regarding how often the #1 scoring defense makes it to the SB or that the Bills are the only team in the playoffs that is top five offense and defense, etc. And of course, your little sophistries don't bear scrutiny. When you say the Bills haven't won a road playoff game in thirty years, one has to remember the 25 years of drought, so it's a small sample size, rather than the implied power of 30 as if they have failed again and again. The only demon that needs to be exorcized here is a certain poster whose honesty is deeply dishonest. Sorry Milton W. Couldn't help myself. Well, I don't really make a judgement based on the consensus of social media and Chief's fans. I think that is actually a pretty good road to imbecility, but if it works for you, have at it.

We won by 18 in their house this year. Yes, they are playing much better and Tre White is missing. Last time, we didn't have Milano and we are also playing better. The oline is surprisingly effective in the latest iteration and Singletary is providing a genuine rushing game. Bills can legitimately win the game. They are not in the position of hoping to steal a victory. As usual, you are only interested in marshalling evidence to paint bleak or desperate pictures. What a terrific human being you must be to devote so much time and energy to bringing everyone down. (And you're wrong.)

Yes, I wasn't actually too interested in a close examination of the game. I was reacting to a claim in a prior post and trying to make a broader point. I do remember some of those instances and I certainly made my usual ineffective protest to the telly which is yet to respond once to my indignation. On the whole, relative to what the Bills usually experience, it wasn't as egregious as it can get. When you have a dominant win, few care. In the one score games, folks remember. I expect the remaining contests will likely be close. Neutral site, metaphysically perfect officiating, I think the Bills win most games. Historical reality, alas, is always messy. Win by two scores to insulate yourself from zebra malpractice.
