  1. I'd really hate to see how you treat your enemies . . .
  2. Correct. Anyone who thinks the Bills' chances of victory are below 30% are trolling or not very bright.
  3. Lived in Atlanta for over forty years, but recently moved. Have not heard any serious discussion of a name change. And if the Blackhawks ever cave and get rid of the best sweater in hockey, shame on them.
  4. Have a look at the Chiefs' board (but don't get too close, you'll catch something disagreeable.)
  5. Yes, I wasn't actually too interested in a close examination of the game. I was reacting to a claim in a prior post and trying to make a broader point. I do remember some of those instances and I certainly made my usual ineffective protest to the telly which is yet to respond once to my indignation. On the whole, relative to what the Bills usually experience, it wasn't as egregious as it can get. When you have a dominant win, few care. In the one score games, folks remember. I expect the remaining contests will likely be close. Neutral site, metaphysically perfect officiating, I think the Bills win most games. Historical reality, alas, is always messy. Win by two scores to insulate yourself from zebra malpractice.
  6. Plausible and if second scenario, I am livid. Inadvertent whistle suddenly becomes a new way to take away a good play, etc.
  7. Probably not, but the Raiders' db clearly stopped short. NFL is sticklers for rules when they want to be. According to rule, should have replayed the down.
  8. In a game where we were historically dominant, so nothing they could do even if they were so inclined. I don't trust the zebras in an even match up, but can't do anything about it. If we avoid turnovers, I think we win.
  9. This happens in all areas of life. And then we vote on things and call it truth.
  10. Execrable savages. Arrogant and dim, plus filthy and low brow. Plus, their qb is a rat face. They need to lose for the good of civilization . . . 😜
  11. I think that gal was Dianna Russini.
  12. Happy Birthday, fella.
  13. If Bills WRs can catch the ball -- the extreme cold makes this difficult obviously -- it won't be close.
  14. Fair enough. I am actually a natural melancholic as well, though for some odd reason it doesn't affect my take on the Bills.
  15. The minute I saw your avatar as the most recent post in this thread I thought 1) haven't seen that fella much, almost forgot about him and 2) I bet it's a negative juju spew. Well done. The circle jerk of media pundits is not a surprise. ESPN was annointing Mac Jones the new Brady and acting as giddy as a new bride when the Pats* were briefly at the top of the division. The hell with them and the hell with the negative karma. We are better than the Pats*. Time to lower the boom.
  16. This is fine . . . so long as the wall doesn't start talking.
  17. I don't think she's very good either, but that's going a bit far don't you think?
  18. Thanks. I'm not on Twitter and did not read it correctly as posted I guess.
  19. In the Wild Card Game thread, someone tweeted a correction to Sal C. Seems as if the Cheaters may have until 4 PM tomorrow with regards to Mills, so I am not certain that he is indeed out.
  20. Well, the Sabres' doctor is some kind of expert on that procedure and he advised against it. Either the Pegulas were locked in on following his advice or the relationship with Eichel had become so toxic that the surgery was just cover for issues that were not going to get fixed even by a successful operation. If they had been willing to risk the surgery, I think they could have gotten a better return, but water under the bridge . . .
  21. I remember when the football was an actual pig and the forward pass was illegal.
  22. The notion that it is going to take exceptional play from Allen for the Bills to win is partly almost tautological since he is the best player on the team at the most important position, as well as a dual threat. But the presupposition of your slant on all this is based on an implicit assumption. Overall, I think you are consistently underrating the talent level of the Bills. They are better than NE and better than Tenn. KC is a toss up. A few bad plays over the course of the season skews their record below their ability. Buffalo lost every one score game and some of them clearly could have gone and probably should have gone the other way. As for the article, it's pretty old hat to surmise a more traditional offense that is run heavy has an advantage in playoff games affected by the elements. Normally, the better qbs win playoff games. No one is taking Mac Jones or Tannehill over Allen. Allen doesn't care about the stats. He will do what it takes to win and he has the ability to carry a team.
