Stop running dumba$$ low chance of success plays. Hollins, MVS, and Samuel are averaging less than 3 yards per target. Stop throwing passes to them. Get Knox more involved on screens and dump offs. Get Coleman involved more.

I don’t know. The punt didn’t have to be perfect. I’d guess there’s probably a 75% success rate in that situation of pinning it inside the 20. You just don’t make that decision when Houston has all 3 timeouts. Martin got off a 50+ yarder and we still ended up losing. And it’s not like Bass is trustworthy past 40 yards while their kicker is money out to 60 yards. Take the 10 second runoff and get to overtime in that situation.

Agreed. The bigger blunder was not taking the 10 second runoff on the grounding penalty when Houston was punting from the 50 yard line and had all 3 timeouts. McDermott is a consistently terrible decision maker at the end of halves and games.

Completely agree. Trubisky is terrible. Asking him to do anything there except hand off would’ve only added to the idiotic coaching decisions down the stretch. I would’ve called timeout. Then if Josh still wasn’t ready, I’m running wildcat with Cook for 3 possibly 4 plays.

Dorian comes off the field on 3rd downs so we can put another practice squad level DB on the field to go along with Lewis and Hamlin.

Dorian Williams made a lot of good plays. He’s becoming one of my favorite players.

Completely agree. That was time to try to pin them deep. And with 3 minutes left and 3 timeouts if you give up a long return, at least you know you’ll get ball back down 1

this is some of the worst QB play I’ve seen in some time from Darnold. He has to have at least 10 straight incompletions.

vikings kicker bailed out the offense in 1st quarter with a 54 yarder after a bad Darnold sack. Huge to have a kicker that can do that. would be a 4 point game with a mediocre kicker.

Darnold looks awful. Just heaving it downfield hoping for a DPI or Jefferson circus catch.

C’mon. I wasn’t the biggest Gabe fan either, but he’d immediately be our #2 WR and be an upgrade over Hollins and MVS. And long term, him, Coleman and Shakir ain’t a bad WR room.

On a trade, it looks like Jax would only eat $7-8m in dead cap as Bills would take on his 2025 salary and option bonus guarantee. Davis’s contract is actually very trade-able and Bills would only need $1m in 2024 cap space to get it done. Could probably make this trade happen for a 5th-6th rounder.

He was an instinctive Corner with excellent anticipation and ball skills, who had just enough speed/athleticism. Post injuries, he doesn’t have enough speed/athleticism and now plays with a cautiousness that makes him even slower.

I’d be surprise if this is anything other than Beane inquiring to drive up the price for the Jets.
