  1. Cleveland drafts Saquon Barley and suddenly you have TT, Saq, Gordon & Landry and it looks good. Then you realize TT had Woods and Watkins and did not do much with them.
  2. I was excited about Poyer, but I don't remember why. In retrospect I didn't really have enough info to justify that belief at the time.
  3. FA signings and the draft are related in this instance only because they are two ways to add players to your team and we need to add a bunch of players. The premise of this position is just pure confirmation bias. Isn't every team int he league trying to fill as many backup spots and holes on the team before the draft? I can take the exact same set of facts and write something that says: Bills are filling team needs so they can stay put and draft BPA.
  4. Correct. But when you have freaking stadiums named after ticket resellers it's obvious they could care less about fans.
  5. Mot Mery Mice. You're right of course. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to drive around with a loaded shotgun, an axe and a knife in the middle of an affluent LA suburb.
  6. Watch out, your British is showing Quit while you're behind
  7. http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/news/jonathan-martin-instagram-dolphins-harvard-westlake-high-school-california-loaded-gun-knife-axe/1fqxxee8s5v9t1l2w7gwr010og?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter I guess it makes a little sense, since I was right and you were completely wrong.
  8. The fear on this board is palpable and real.
  9. That's so ridiculous. Just slap a resale policy on them that unused tickets aren't transferable except for face-value turn-ins to the ticket office if you're worried about people reselling stuff to visitors.
  10. Accuracy issue has not been debunked. Stats are garbage if you don't accompany them with gametape. Have you actually watched his games?
  11. I'm not reading anything by Trespasso that deals with QBs. The guy wants to have Mason Rudolph's babies.
  12. Apart from the fact that it's, you know, illegal.
  13. Sometimes a post reinforces everything you already thought about someone. Thanks for this!
  14. I had to unfollow him on twitter because I disagree with his QB takes so much. He has Rudolph #1
  15. The "observations" that people on this board make about Jackson are hilariously uneducated, but they are perpetuated by the media, often at the behest of unnamed sources that have an interest in these guys being drafted. Black QBs who can run, they play up their athleticism and lump everyone together like no one knows how to run through a progression; Injury histories of good prospects that have recent injuries get played up; outspoken players get labelled as having red flags for things half the teams don't care about - this is all a game people.
  16. Sam Darnold Josh Rosen Saquon Barkley Quenton Nelson Bradley Chubb Minkah Fitzpatrick Denzel Ward Mike McGlinchey Denzel Ward Derwin James Roquan Smith Baker Mayfield Tremaine Edmunds Marcus Davenport Vita Vea Da'Ron Payne Rashaan Evans
  17. I'm so over this fear-based, scarcity mentality of people on this board in regards to the draft. This team will go nowhere till we have a QB. 3 1s, Cordy and another pick should do it. It's kind of hard to turn down that pick haul and getting a franchise LT for reasonable money. That said, if the Giants are taking a RB at 2 I'd rather jump to 4 and have to pay way less to move up.
  18. Well is the great Magox just says he isn't how can I argue with that? I mean there's this http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/06/jordan-matthews-confident-of-his-value-in-free-agency/ where he claims to be trending as a #1 wr. I'll just take your opinion instead though.
  19. He is looking for WR1 money
  20. They want the same package they got for Bradford. Not worth it.
  21. They are more likely to want Cordy
  22. The guy who has the biggest issue with turnovers is not as risky as the guy who spins the ball better than him and the kid with the highest 2 completion percentage seasons in the history of college football... okay dude. McShay has to find a way to justify his paycheck and he does it by manufacturing controversial mocks to get people talking about him. Guys like Kiper and McShay were relevant when you had to order a scouting guide and wait for it to get mailed to your house before you knew all that much about individual prospects. Now that there are endless sites offering you raw data, what do you really need 2 non-experts who hit on less than 30% of their picks.
  23. This quote means less than nothing. He already said they can't come to a decision about QBs without spending a lot of time getting to know them, they haven't had all that much contact with the kids to date, hence they haven't set their draft board. Of course he has no intent at this moment of moving up, he doesn't even know who he wants to draft. Once that assessment has taken place the next step is determining where the player is likely to be drafted and trying to move up ahead of that spot to get them if necessary.
  24. That's what every single talent evaluator says.
